00:00I did get to know Steve for quite some time, you know, you know, I, first of all, congratulations
00:08to him and what a story this is, right? I mean, him being able to be able to see this
00:16is absolutely incredible. I just see that part. That's a wow, right? I mean, this will
00:26be a special, a special time in Canton for everybody to see him and to see him be able
00:32to stay with us and see this. We both got we both got Hernandez that day. And I jumped
00:45up and started screaming as loud as I could scream at him, which was no surprise for him.
00:53And so then I spiked my like, I grabbed my helmet, you know, as a good kid from Chicago
00:59would do in a fit of rage, I spiked my helmet, straight down at my feet, and it hits the
01:06home plate. And it goes right up past my face. And up about 20 feet in the air. I almost
01:15knocked myself out. And I thought, All right, that's enough. Your arguments over. Just take
01:21your butt and say, Bob, I'm thinking to myself, take your butt to the dugout before you make
01:26a fool of yourself even more because you almost knocked yourself out. And I went there and
01:30then and then Mongo does that seventh inning stretch. And I had my glove over my face and
01:35I was dying laughing. I just thought I'm like, you go brother. I got kicked him out of the
01:43game. And I thought, way to go. I go if I ever see that guy somewhere and I knew I'd
01:48see him at Dickens restaurant at some point in the fall. I'm like, I'm buying man. I got
01:53whatever is cattle steak. Yeah, I'm getting cocktails. I go I'm in. That was awesome.
01:59I we just I left my butt off there. I had my glove on my face. Just dying laughing.
02:04But yeah, it was something we've been somewhat connected in that play with friends of ours
02:11and all of that, you know, through the years, but I will watch this induction ceremony.
