00:08We are all Timas.
00:11Let's see how Amir Mustafa Rosli, the son of Nur Aisyah Zubir,
00:17was able to complete his mission in Paris
00:19even though he was forced to use a replacement bicycle for the race on 4th August.
00:24In a statement with journalist Zuhal Mizan Azam,
00:27the country's olympian admitted that Aisyah was able to adjust to the bicycle
00:31through training and competitions in Belgium.
00:36Aisyah was involved in an accident
00:38during a competition in Belgium on 16th June
00:41and caused her to suffer a light injury in her shoulder and ankle.
00:45In fact, the bicycle that Aisyah used broke in several parts
00:48and was not able to be used as the main bicycle for the race
00:51even though it was repaired.
00:55For the bicycle that she is using now,
00:58I think so far it's okay because it's a high-end bicycle.
01:04Aisyah has been using this second bicycle for a month now.
01:12She has participated in many competitions
01:16and asked for feedback from the podium.
01:22She said it's okay and it's comfortable to use.
01:27Aisyah will make history as the first female bicycle racer
01:31to participate in the Olympics
01:33after the Malaysian Bicycle Federation, PKBM,
01:36gave her a slot to Paris in 2024.
01:39Aisyah is now on a mission that was helped 12 years ago
01:42when Amir and his brother Husaini Othman failed to finish the race
01:46at the London Tumasha in 2012.
01:49In Asia, it's quite difficult to finish a race in Belgium.
01:55But Aisyah participated in almost 20 races.
01:59She finished all 20 races and won the podium.
02:03So, for me, it's a positive for Malaysia
02:08and cycling in Malaysia
02:10so that next time we can go to Europe for racing and training.
02:16Do you think there's a chance for Aisyah to finish the race in Paris?
02:19For me, I think there's a chance.
02:21If you look at Aisyah's performance now
02:24and her endurance, I think there's no problem.
02:27We'll see.
