North Farnham and Bordon constituents may be affected by government plans to scrap the new hospital programme.

00:00Gregory Stafford. Thank you Madam Deputy Speaker. The residents in my

00:05constituency of Farnham and Borden will be very concerned to hear about the

00:08scrapping of the new hospitals programme, especially those living in the north of

00:11the constituency who are served by Frimley Park Hospital. Can she confirm

00:15that the affected hospitals like Frimley Park will still go ahead and

00:19will she tell us when we can have assurance on that so they can reassure

00:23our constituents? Well the Honourable Gentleman's constituents will

00:28be rightly angry with the previous government for making unfunded spending

00:32commitments that they knew they could not pay for. My right honourable friend

00:35the Health Secretary will meet with all of those with affected hospitals

00:39included where those hospitals have been affected by WRAC to make sure that we

00:43can as quickly as possible address the challenges that his constituents and so

00:47many other constituents now face because of the unfunded promises made by the

00:51previous government.
