00:00The Office of the Solicitor General will not stop the International Criminal Court or ICC from talking to five people related to the drug war of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:12The prosecutor needs to do something because before he applies for a warrant of arrest in the pre-trial chamber of the ICC,

00:23he needs to show that he investigated all the facts.

00:28Whether incriminating or exonerating, he needs to show that he did everything

00:34to give all persons concerned a chance to explain their position.

00:43That's why Guevara said that the government will not help in the investigation of the ICC.

00:47There is no longer a relationship between the Philippines and the ICC after the country withdrew.

00:51According to the statute of 2019, according to the former Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo,

00:57Guevara is doing the opposite of what President Bongbong Marcos said.

01:01In Guevara's statement that the Philippines will not stop the ICC, he also said that the ICC has jurisdiction in the country.

01:09Guevara has not yet responded to this.

01:11The Solicitor General also did not say who the five people related to the ICC prosecutor will talk to.

01:17But in the document issued by former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV,

01:21they are the former PNP chief and now Senator Bato de la Rosa,

01:25former PNP chief Oscar Albayalde,

01:27and former generals of the PNP Sen. Romeo Karamat Jr., Edilberto Leonardo, and Eleazar Mata.

01:34They are the suspects in the drug war case.

01:38Albayalde is ready to face the investigation.

01:42Karamat Jr. defended the drug war and said it was a success in Bulacan where he became the provincial director.

01:48GMI Integrated News asked for the statements of Mata, Leonardo, and de la Rosa.

01:53De la Rosa said that the accusations against him are just a repeat.
