00:00According to the foodies, hundreds of boxes of expired meat were found in Malabon.

00:06Some of these are being disposed of.

00:09In the absence of a search warrant, two refrigerated containers in a compound were opened by the National Bureau of Investigation.

00:15According to them, more than 700 boxes of different kinds of frozen meat from China worth Php 2.5 million were found.

00:23In 2022, the expiration of meat was announced.

00:28The NBI also noticed that some of the boxes were covered with stickers to indicate that the meat was from Brazil and that it was not yet expired.

00:35Subsequently, the company's office in Manila was also investigated where the newly made stickers attached to the boxes of expired meat were found.

00:44Based on the certification of the National Meat Inspection Service or NMIS, meat cannot be eaten anymore.

00:51A violation of the Meat Inspection Code of the Philippines was filed against the owners of the company.
