00:00I appreciate the gentleman yielding.
00:02Director, I guess I'm not clear exactly where all,
00:06you said there were eight shell casings on the roof,
00:08so eight bullets were fired.
00:10We obviously know that Mr. Comperatore lost his life,
00:13two other rally goers were injured, seriously injured,
00:17and then the one that hit President Trump.
00:21Does that account for, were some of these individuals
00:24hit multiple times?
00:25Where did all eight bullets go, is I guess my question.
00:30I don't have that in front of me.
00:32I'm happy to circle back and get that to you.
00:34It's assuming we have that information yet.
00:38As I said, I think with respect to former President Trump,
00:43there's some question about whether or not
00:47it's a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.
00:50So it's conceivable, as I sit here right now,
00:52I don't know whether that bullet,
00:55in addition to causing the grazing,
00:57could have also landed somewhere else.
01:00But I believe we've accounted for all of the shots
01:02on the cartridges, so let us get that.
01:05It's my understanding that the very first one
01:07was the one that hit the President.
01:08Is that the very first shot, or is that not accurate?
01:11I don't, as I sit here right now,
01:13I don't know the answer to that.
01:14I believe we know the answer to that,
01:15I just don't have it in front of me.
01:17Okay, okay.
01:18Is there any chance this, I mean, it seems to me
01:21that this bad guy, this shooter,
01:22was focused on President Trump.
01:25But you indicated that he purchased 50 rounds
01:28of ammunition, I believe, earlier that day.
01:32Do you have any indication thus far in your investigation
01:34that in addition to going after
01:36and trying to assassinate the former President,
01:39he was also looking to do a lot more damage
01:42to other individuals?
01:46That's a hard question to answer.
01:48What I would say is I agree with you
01:50that his preparatory activity,
01:56what we've seen so far, the limited information
01:59that has been relevant and interesting
02:01about his preparatory activity,
02:03does seem to be that he had settled
02:05on former President Trump as a target,
02:08and this rally as his moment to try to take a shot.
02:12But in addition to the 50 rounds,
02:16of course, you have the issue of these explosive devices.
02:19Right.
02:20And so what else he may have had in mind
02:23is something that I think is very much of an open question.
02:27On the one hand, you have these explosive devices,
02:29including the one still back in his home,
02:32that wasn't in quite the same stage
02:34as the one in the vehicle,
02:36vehicles, the ones in the vehicle.
02:37But he clearly had those explosive devices for some reason,
02:41and so we're trying to figure that out.
02:43As I've said before, sometimes in these kind of situations,
02:46you find like a manifesto or something like that.
02:50It's frustrating to us, and I'm sure frustrating
02:52to you and the American people,
02:53that we haven't found anything quite like that.
02:54We'd love to have a roadmap
02:56that tells us exactly what he was thinking.
02:57We haven't found that yet, doesn't mean we won't.
03:00We're looking all over the place,
03:01and we're gonna leave no stone unturned.
03:04A gentleman from Texas is recognized.
