00:00I just want to go back to your answer to Said about the Golan Heights.
00:05You mentioned that the control – the Israeli control is a security necessity for Israel
00:11as long as Assad and other villains are operating in Syria.
00:17But are you – is this a walk back from the recognition of Trump administration of Golan
00:25Heights as a sovereign territory of Israel?
00:29Our position on our policy has not changed.
00:33So –
00:34So it is a sovereign territory of Israel?
00:36Our policy as it relates to the Golan Heights has not changed.
00:39The Secretary has spoken about this since the beginning of this administration, and
00:43we have consistently talked about it in the same way, and our position has not changed.
00:48Okay.
00:49And my second question is about the Hezbollah incidents.
00:53Hezbollah denying this, and Israel and the United States accused him of it.
01:01Do you have any independent verification that it was Hezbollah, or are you relying on Israeli
01:05information?
01:06So I'm not going to get into the underlying data that supports this assessment, but what
01:16I can say is that this attack was conducted by Hezbollah.
01:21It was their rocket, and it was launched from an area they control, and any assertation
01:25to the contrary would be a denial of reality.
01:28But this is your U.S. assessment, this U.S. assessment.
01:31I'm not going to get into the underlying circumstances of this assessment, but it is
01:37the – it is our assessment that this was an attack by Hezbollah, again, because it
01:43was their rocket and it was launched from a region, an area they control.
