00:00Good morning to all. This is the latest weather update for Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

00:07Let's start with our latest satellite image.

00:11At the moment, we are still monitoring this low-pressure area

00:15that was last seen 480 kilometers north-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.

00:20And as we can see, it is almost at the boundary of our Philippine area of responsibility.

00:27So, in the next few hours, we expect that it will come out of par

00:31and will not affect any part of our country.

00:35The chance that this will be a typhoon will also be low,

00:38so it will have a weak impact on the northwestern part of the country in the next few days.

00:43Meanwhile, we can still see the effect of the southwest monsoon

00:47or the northwestern part of the country, especially here in the northern part of Luzon.

00:51So, we still hope that the dark times will continue

00:56especially in the areas of Ilocos Region and Zambales.

01:00Meanwhile, in the northern part of our country,

01:03we can still see that there are no thick clouds that could cause rain all day long

01:10in the northern part of our country.

02:10there are chances of isolated thunderstorms.

02:18in some parts of Cordillera in Central Luzon,

02:21in the western section of Calabarzon, in Cavite, Batangas,

02:46As for the temperature today in the neighboring cities here in Luzon,

02:51for Lawag, and also in Tuguegarao, Legazpi,

02:54and here in Metro Manila,

02:56our maximum temperatures reach 32°C

02:59for Baguio, 17°C to 22°C,

03:03and 24°C to 31°C for Tagaytay.

03:08In the western part of our country,

03:10as for the weather today,

03:12as we saw in the satellite image earlier,

03:15we are not able to see heavy rain showers

03:17that are possible all day long.

03:21That's why the weather is still hot,

03:23especially when it comes to the afternoon,

03:25and there are chances of isolated thunderstorms

03:28when it comes to the afternoon or night.

03:31As for the water temperature for the neighboring cities,

03:34for Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

03:36for Calayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa,

03:38our maximum temperatures reach 32°C

03:42for the neighboring cities.

03:44Here in Visayas, for Iloilo and Cebu,

03:47our maximum temperatures reach 32°C,

03:5025°C or 26°C to 31°C for Tacloban.

03:54Here in Cagayan de Oro,

03:56the maximum temperatures reach 26°C to 32°C

04:00for Davao,

04:02and for Zamboanga,

04:04the water temperature ranges from 25°C to 33°C.

04:10As for the sea level,
