00:00And we love taters on the lion's share brought to you by MGM.
00:10We do love taters on the lion's share and we are going to get there I did want to give
00:13you this first of course we've been talking about Flaherty not pitching Jack Flaherty
00:18not pitching for the Tigers tonight Scotty.
00:21This just came down from our man Bob Nightingale of course we see a lot here on coast to coast
00:27with you.
00:28This is about a minute ago the Yankees are in extensive trade talks for Tiger starter
00:34Jack Flaherty and plan to trade starter Nestor Cortez if they land Flaherty.
00:41So Scotty now that is a trade I would make every day and twice on Sunday Cortez out of
00:47the rotation and Flaherty in especially with the way he's pitched.
00:52I mean honestly like see you later nasty thanks for nothing.
00:56Really he gets lit up every time he pitches all that nasty Nestor stuff is nonsense.
01:02I told you the Mets should get Flaherty the Yankees get him instead.
01:06That is a coup.
01:07He has pitched great this year for the Tigers but it doesn't necessarily mean that he's
01:12going to be dominant in pinstripes or at Yankee Stadium or otherwise.
01:16But it is an upgrade without a doubt over Cortez.
01:20Not official yet if that does become official I will let you know Bob says extensive talks
01:26almost there.
01:27Hopefully they get that across the line Scotty that would be very good.
01:30Now how about some taters on the lion's share brought to you by Bet MGM and we're coming
01:36off one of our best nights on Friday for bell ringers that we had here on the lion's share.
01:43It was a very good Friday night for us.
01:46Let's start with this Yankee Philly game tonight.
01:49And I know we've got Zach Wheeler and Louie Hill on the mound two guys who've been very
01:53good this year.
01:54But big total.
01:56I think there's homers here.
01:57Both guys do give up some solo shots Scotty they don't allow the big ones but they allow
02:01a lot of solos.
02:02I'm going to start with Harper big stage.
02:05The big guys are going to come to play Harper plus 275 against Louie Hill who's given up
02:10most of his homers really in the last six weeks especially to some left handed bats.
02:15Now look Soto he's got good numbers against Wheeler three homers in his career off of
02:19a judge actually 0 for 5 Scotty against Wheeler in his career.
02:24Probably nobody on the Phillies has seen Hill before.
02:26I'll take my shot with Harper with the Yankees in town.
02:31Yeah I love that bet and I like Schwarbaum.
02:33He's been launching shots every night and I think Turner's another guy that I would
02:38be involved with as well for the Phillies.
02:40I do not have much faith lately in Hill.
02:44I think he's kind of been a heel.
02:47He's been getting lit up.
02:49So you know I don't think it's going to be easy for the Yankees against Wheeler and I
02:54think more of the home runs are coming from that Philly side like you do.
02:57I do agree on that.
02:59All right.
03:00The Mariners head to Boston where they open up a series with the Sox and one of my favorite
03:05targets on the lion's share is always Nick Pavetta who's allowed 15 homers in 84 innings
03:10this year for the Red Sox.
03:12Cal Raleigh has been good to us.
03:15You know it's funny Scotty.
03:16He was actually one of the guys who didn't homer for us Friday night.
03:20We had four homers.
03:21We had him in the card.
03:22He didn't but he came through for me Saturday and Sunday.
03:26So he's been very hot and he's three for seven with two homers in his career off of Pavetta
03:31plus three thirty three for Cal Raleigh tonight at Fenway.
03:36Yeah I love that bet.
03:37And you know I might even throw in a Hannigan here based on the sandbox that they're playing
03:43in.
03:44So if Raleigh can hit one why not Hannigan.
03:47I'll give you this number to Pharrell Arena of course just joined Seattle.
03:51He has seen Pavetta a lot two homers in his career eight for twenty two with two homers
03:55off of Pavetta.
03:57So maybe a Rosarito somebody else to look for.
04:00He knows that park knows that pitcher very well from his time in Tampa.
04:05Next we'll go to Arizona late night nationals in town against the Diamondbacks.
04:10And I'm going back to one of my old friends Christian Walker tonight plus three seventy
04:15five.
04:16Why are we going to Christian Scotty.
04:17Well we have a lefty on the mound in our boy Mitchell Parker can't Parker Lewis can't
04:23lose and Walker eats lefties at home and you have one in Parker Lewis.
04:28So let's go after a plus three seventy five with Walker.
04:31I mean this guy has rung the bell for us so many times particularly at Dodger Stadium
04:36but I like to call here against Parker in the desert.
04:41And you know it's funny they took two of three from the Pirates.
04:44They're playing great baseball and it's been going on for about three weeks.
04:48So I've said time and time again before the break.
04:52Watch out for this team in the second half.
04:53They're playing great baseball.
04:54That was a week before at least the all star break and now they've carried it out of the
04:59break.
05:00I think they're going to be tough to beat the rest of the way.
05:02They look good.
05:05Next to Cincinnati the Cubs and the Reds tonight.
05:08Now there's several options that we have on the red side against Jamison shots to tie
05:12on.
05:13I actually don't mind some cubbies either Scottie against this Carson Spires but I'm
05:17going to go with Tyler Stevenson tonight for four for four in his career off a tie on including
05:24a home run.
05:25So he sees him very well.
05:27Plus four twenty five for Stevenson.
05:29Candelarios hit a homer off of TJ Friedel's hit a homer off from Spencer Steers at a homer
05:34off them.
05:35Reds have some very good numbers against tie on.
05:39Yeah I love that bet at four twenty five.
05:41It's a great number on the other side.
05:44You know the same names start coming up.
05:45You know as far as I'm concerned Hap Horner.
05:50There's a lot of Cubs too that I'd be interested in and getting a piece on next to Citi Field
05:56we go Mets and the twins.
05:58I'm going to go to Royce Lewis who just came back off the aisle.
06:01Now Lewis is in a lot of home runs this year in limited action 11 home runs and only 98
06:07at bats.
06:08He's just coming off.
06:09Let's get him hot.
06:10This guy's been in the threes for most of the year Scottie getting him at five to one
06:15tonight against the lefty.
06:17He usually mashes lefties in Jose Quintana who's given up 18 home runs this year.
06:22I'll try Lewis at Citi Field at plus 500.
06:25I love that bet.
06:26I'd be interested in a Carlos Santana again hit from either side and he's a showman.
06:32So hitting one in New York would be something I can see happening.
06:36And finally we go to Houston where yes Paul Skeens is on the mound tonight.
06:41We're going to get to him in a moment.
06:43But the Buccos come rolling in line up a little depleted.
06:47They're going to get Reynolds back tonight.
06:48By the way I like Reynolds as well if he's in the lineup.
06:51But I'm going to go to the cruise missile.
06:53We just played you one.
06:54He hit one yesterday.
06:55He's been hot.
06:56And why are we doing this Scottie.
06:58Who does O'Neal Cruz hit the most.
07:00These right handers who can't get anybody out.
07:02And that is exactly what Jake Bloss Bloss the boss has been for Houston this year.
07:08This guy's given up five homers in only 11 innings.
07:12He gets beat up by lefty power hitters plus four bills for O'Neal Cruz tonight.
07:18Love that bet.
07:19On the other side you know Skeens gives up a home run here and there.
07:23He's been known to get that fastball turned on.
07:25I'd say Alvarez could hit one from the left side obviously.
07:29Yeah I think from the Houston side.
07:31The only guy I'd play with fire with tonight is Alvarez against Skeens if we wanted to
07:36go there.
07:37And as far as Skeens goes Scottie.
07:39Of course we know the number for him.
07:41It is seven and a half is where the K number is.
07:44And so far this year it is 10 and two to the over.
07:49Seven and a half.
07:50Ninety percent of the bets at MGM are on Skeens to go over the seven and a half in Houston.
07:56Well I don't see why it's not going to happen tonight too with that lineup.
08:00They got like one guy hitting from the left side.
08:03So I think they're going to have trouble with them and I'll go over again.
08:07Ten and two I'll go over again at plus 110.
