DOJ, law schools team up to provide free legal services

00:00The Department of Justice, or DOJ, and the Philippine Association of Law Schools, or PALS,
00:06have signed a memorandum of agreement to enhance legal service access in the country.
00:11Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Ramulla led the ceremony
00:15with San Sebastian College of Law President Teodoro Pastrana, representing PALS.
00:21The agreement allows the DOJ Action Center to refer clients who don't qualify for existing aid
00:27to law schools with legal aid clinics.
00:30PALS will accept referrals or direct them to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines if unable to help.
