00:00A Sunday night baseball rubber match in the rivalry renewed between the Boston
00:04Red Sox and the New York Yankees. Inside Fenway Park this weekend the Yanks and
00:09the Red Sox looking for the third and final game to take the weekend set over
00:14their rivals. Dead even pick them DRS. Minus 108 on the money line for both New
00:18York and Boston entering the third and final game of the series. A total of nine
00:24in a high-scoring series. Every game all three featured at least double
00:29digit runs as the Yankees take the third and final to win the rubber match
00:33and the weekend against the Sox 8-2. Carlos Rodon second great and consistent
00:39start of this week. That's a good sign for New York. They get the victory over
00:45Boston 8-2 in the finale. Jazz Chisholm making his debut in pinstripes
00:51after being acquired over the weekend from Miami. Yeah Jazz Chisholm goes one
00:56of five but they get a stolen base in that game I think late in there when he
00:59got knocked in the head and then decided to steal a third but that's a
01:02good win for the Yankees 8-2 overall and also so Juan Soto 0-3 in that
01:06game dropped down to 3-0-6 and most people look at that and say wow you're
01:09not gonna win with many times but they still had two walks in that game. The guy
01:13just continues to get on base even it's not by base hit there. Aaron Judge just
01:16pick up an RBI but the rest of that lineup doing some damage because if
01:20you're not going to pitch to Soto and Judge here you better have the guys
01:24behind them do some things and they did that yesterday.
01:27Wells was decent. Chisholm had the base hit. Torres with two RBI yesterday. Down and
01:31looking on that list that's what you needed for the Yankees. We've
01:34been saying this time and time again I don't know if they're gonna get any more
01:37you know moves here at the trade deadline. I think Chisholm was a decent
01:40move here to be able to play some center field speed on the bases which is
01:42something we never talk about the Yankees having too much speed on the
01:45bases because they technically don't have any. Now they have a guy at the top of
01:48that order maybe he can reinvigorate. So all those postgame press conferences
01:51at least answering questions like hey man always loved Derek Jeter had him as an
01:54owner. I'm happy to be here in New York. We'll see if that turns on the gas
01:57because there was some thought process behind the scenes which has Chisholm not
02:00an all-in guy not maybe a team guy maybe buys into the Yankees. Now they've gone
02:04from one of the worst teams in baseball to one of the best teams in baseball.
02:08Sometimes I can give you a little bit of a kick there to get after it. The Yankees
02:11needed that series win because they're gonna take on the Phillies tonight and
02:13you just want to see them stabilize themselves but also maybe the biggest
02:17key contributor yesterday was Carlos Rodon. You're just looking for solid
02:21pitching performances out of the guys you expect to get solid pitching
02:24performances. Hasn't been that way many times this year for Rodon but a good
02:28start yesterday on Sunday Night Baseball.
