00:00I'm sure all of you have your own research, what did you do to get into your character?

00:07Because a big part of my character is being a Wodeville actress.

00:13Together with Sanya, we needed to have a tap dance class.

00:17I was the one who would give a lesson to the people, to the Filipinos, to the Hapol,

00:24when the war comes.

00:26So, it's also a core story.

00:28So, those are the two big stories of Pulang Araw.

00:33One is about the war, and the other is entertainment, which is the Wodeville industry.

00:40I really needed to study it well, to understand that I'm not just simply dancing,

00:46that it's not like I'm a dancer.

00:49I needed to understand that I'm not just simply dancing,

00:52that it's not just a performance.

00:55It's more of making people forget that we're in a war.

01:00I visited you in your tap dancing lessons.

01:05Can you tell us how difficult those lessons were?

01:08It was quite intimidating for me because I didn't know it totally.

01:13You have to be one with the music, and where your feet would move.

01:18I'd like to think that I'm becoming more comfortable doing it, unlike before.

01:25It's also good because I can do the dance at the same time.

01:32Because it's very challenging.

01:33For example, if you memorize the choreography, then you have to do the dance.

01:37Isn't it difficult?

01:38Then you have to sing.

01:40So, it's very challenging.

01:44Now, I'm more comfortable doing tap dance.

01:48I can dance and sing at the same time.

01:53But I have to admit, that's the most challenging part for me in this show.
