00:20With the film finally in theaters, most of those surprises have been revealed, and one
00:23of them is definitely not what everyone thought it would be.

00:30But now that moviegoers are flocking into theaters at a record-breaking pace to see
00:34it for themselves, the internet is filling to the brim with all the biggest spoilers
00:38and twists that the film throws at audiences.
00:41So here's one.
00:42Despite all the speculation, Lady Deadpool is not played by Taylor Swift.
00:47Rumors that Swift would make a cameo in the movie have been proliferating for months.
00:51All the way back in April, Swifty Sherlock's were combing through the lyrics of her newest
00:55album for hints about… stuff, and latched onto one lyric in particular.

01:07The pieces were all falling into place!
01:09Well, that didn't happen.
01:11But then, once the trailers began revealing the shapely form of Lady Deadpool, the rumors
01:15dug themselves out of the grave one more time.
01:18It had to be Swift.
01:20And again, it wasn't.
01:21Instead, that honor goes to a very different individual who has a much closer connection
01:25to the star of the show.
01:27It's Blake Lively.
01:28You know, Ryan Reynolds' wife.
01:30We probably should have seen this one coming.
01:32Deadpool and Wolverine isn't shy about making its fair share of meta-pop culture references,
01:37some of which allude to incredibly intimate details of the main cast's personal lives.
01:41And the film subtly lays the groundwork for this reveal somewhat early on during some
01:44cheeky dialogue.
01:46It's unclear if Lively actually put on the suit for the scene, since she never takes
01:49her mask off in the movie.
01:51But the voice at least is hers, as confirmed in the end credits.
01:54But even though she ended up not making a cameo, Taylor Swift at least wholeheartedly
01:58endorsed the film in a post delivered with a sense of humor even Deadpool could admire.
02:03On her Instagram stories, Swift, who's friends with Reynolds in real life, wrote,

02:21After a few more glowing accolades, she added,

02:34And although this cameo didn't turn out like fans expected, there are still tons of
