00:00In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
00:15Assalamu Alaikum, I welcome you to the program Kaif Fakir.
00:19We have with us Mr. Saif Fazl-e-Marchad, who answers your questions and discusses your topics.
00:29This gives you an opportunity to include this in your life, to make it a part of your thinking,
00:36to reflect on these things and to spend your life in a better way.
00:40So today we will discuss different topics with him.
00:45You have a lot of questions today, we will include them as well.
00:49So first of all, I would like to greet you.
00:51Assalamu Alaikum, Shahzad.
00:52Walaikum Assalam.
00:53A lot of people have asked this question, and that is about non-Muslims.
00:57And they say that when our leaders say that we have pledged not to write the Quran and Hadith,
01:04and at a lower level, people are non-Muslims,
01:09does this create an imbalance in the society?
01:13Doesn't the society progress?
01:15Mr. Rauf, when our lives are at this level,
01:21when we say that what we have pledged is not the Quran and Hadith,
01:27then you can say that we have started following the path of destruction.
01:33Whenever I come here with you,
01:41we often say that it is a big mistake to think of Islam as a religion.
01:55It is not a religion, it is a religion.
01:58And it provides guidance for every aspect of our worldly life.
02:09If you take a small thing,
02:15it guides us from there to the biggest of things.
02:24That is because our entire life, all aspects of life,
02:33are governed by our religion.
02:37We cannot separate any aspect of our life from our religion.
02:45We will all follow the same religion.
02:50So, politics will also be controlled by religion.
02:56The standards set by religion for a good person,
03:01are applicable there as well as in politics.
03:07Today, if such a person comes into politics,
03:13who is true to the call of failure,
03:20who is bound by the call of failure,
03:23and instead of using conspiracies,
03:26he follows a straight line,
03:29he will be seen in the beginning,
03:32he will not gain popularity so soon.
03:36But when his results are revealed,
03:40the public will follow him.
03:44It is not that he will become so popular in 2-4 years.
03:49It will take 5-10 years for the results to come out.
03:54We are Muslims.
03:58In our society, the importance of words is very high.
04:02You will meet many people who will tell you,
04:07I do not believe in writing as much as I believe in your language.
04:12A person who does not know the value of his words,
04:16he will never know the value of his writing.
04:22Now, this is the value of language and words.
04:26So, a person who is really great,
04:33he knows the value of his words.
04:37And while taking words out of his mouth,
04:44he thinks a thousand times,
04:47will I fail in this?
04:50So, where he is likely to fail,
04:53he does not say that.
04:55The qualities of a leader,
05:00the moral integrity in him,
05:05it forms the very basis,
05:09it forms the very foundation of that personality.
05:15So, it is the worst fault of that foundation.
05:25In the case of a leader,
05:28till now you have created one leader,
05:31that is, Qaid-e-Azam Jinnah.
05:36Yes, Qaid-e-Azam Jinnah.
05:38That is Qaid-e-Azam Jinnah.
05:40He was a leader.
05:44You show a flaw in his personality.
05:49Even in his personal life,
05:52you find a flaw,
05:54you sit down and look for it.
05:57You will not find it.
06:02A leader is in this state.
06:09Prophet Muhammad never said anything
06:12that I am not following.
06:16In the case of Ahzab,
06:18Prophet Muhammad was very strict.
06:22He was very particular.
06:26So, this inequality is the worst fault of a character.
06:37This is the fault line.
06:41A leader is not acceptable in any way.
06:45A leader is a very big thing.
06:47It is not acceptable among ordinary people.
06:51Absolutely right.
06:53I have a question here.
06:56In the current system,
06:59all the leaders that we have,
07:04we have a feeling that they are all corrupt.
07:11If the whole system is corrupt,
07:13and the leaders are also corrupt,
07:15then on whom should we trust?
07:17Look, my views may not be acceptable to you.
07:24I believe that
07:27I should not see a flaw in a person.
07:37And I should not verify what I see with my eyes.
07:41I have no right to bring it to my tongue.
07:45It is a very simple thing.
07:51If someone is corrupt,
07:54get him punished.
07:57There are laws for that.
08:00In fact, we are among those nations
08:03where the law is the most important.
08:11We should leave it to the law.
08:15The law should investigate him,
08:19find proof, and get him punished.
08:24Instead of sitting and
08:28pointing fingers at a person,
08:37there are laws for that.
08:41Let the law sort him out.
08:45We have such a trend these days
08:49that we take great interest in
08:52people's personal lives.
08:55And we advertise it a lot.
08:58So we should keep their personal lives
09:02separate.
09:04Should we give importance to it or not?
09:10Look, the leader, the public figure,
09:14his life will be discussed from all aspects.
09:19It is not possible that he will not be discussed.
09:25We have many good anchors.
09:28I like them a lot.
09:31They discuss someone's personal life
09:35with great restraint.
09:41They will never openly
09:44talk about the flaw.
09:47They will talk about it in a very
09:50indirect way, in a very beautiful way.
09:55This is a decent way.
09:57So we should not let decency get in the way.
10:01These are small decencies of life.
10:05These are small nasties of life.
10:08We have forgotten this.
10:11We should not forget this.
10:13We should not forget it even in enmity.
10:16We should observe decencies and nasties
10:20even in the worst form of enmity.
10:25These are very beautiful things.
10:28These are small things of life.
10:31If we maintain them,
10:34life is very beautiful despite
10:38the corruption of all these problems.
10:43I like many such people.
10:47I watch their programs.
10:50They have a very beautiful way.
10:53Mr. Shah, we have to stop here for a short break.
10:56Please excuse us.
10:57We will be back after the break.
10:59We are back after the break.
11:01I met a leader once.
11:03I asked him about his personal life.
11:07He said that he has gone through a lot.
11:11He said that Allah likes to cover up.
11:17How important is it to cover up?
11:21Covering up is a must.
11:24One is a common man.
11:29He is one of our colleagues.
11:34It would be better if we do not discuss his personal life.
11:42He is a leader because it is a national property.
11:47It has become a national property.
11:50It is a public property.
11:53We will be compelled to bring up
11:59public figures.
12:03However, while pointing out things,
12:08we should maintain a sense of decency.
12:15We should not cross the line.
12:19We should not use derogatory words.
12:27That should be a statement of facts.
12:31We should not use derogatory words.
12:42This is what I meant by decency.
12:49We should not use derogatory words.
12:55I like the people who come on TV.
13:02They are very polite.
13:05You people do not like to promote someone.
13:11If you take their name,
13:14they will be promoted.
13:16But the anchors are very polite.
13:21The strictest thing is the Sunnah.
13:28This is also Sunnah.
13:30The importance of being soft spoken.
13:35God has said in the Holy Quran that
13:41people come to you because you are soft spoken.
13:47If you were harsh,
13:50people would run away from you.
13:52This is what I meant by soft spoken.
13:55This is the meaning of soft spoken.
13:59God has appreciated being soft spoken.
14:05This is the importance of being soft spoken.
14:10We have such soft spoken people.
14:14Let's prove something about such people.
14:18I remember in foreign countries,
14:22Mike Gatting was the captain of a cricket team in England.
14:28His tour was about to start.
14:32He misbehaved with an attendant in a bar.
14:37He was removed from the captaincy on that basis.
14:40I don't think such people should be given a public office.
14:45If you have given this example,
14:48I will take it forward.
14:50Tell me,
14:52was there a public discussion about him?
14:57Or was he just removed?
14:59Or was there a brief news that he was removed?
15:04Tony Blair is a lawyer.
15:12I was really fond of two or three such people.
15:23One was Mr. Bhutto.
15:26I have a lot of differences of opinion with Mr. Bhutto.
15:33But when he used to give a speech in English,
15:39God had made him a great personality.
15:45If you look at his personality,
15:51God had made him a great personality.
15:56He would put himself in the shoes of the person he was speaking to.
16:01On an international level,
16:03if he is giving a press conference,
16:06suppose he has gone on a visit to a country,
16:13if he has given a press conference there,
16:15he is a different person.
16:18A real statesman.
16:20If he is giving a speech in an institution,
16:27he is a different personality.
16:30If he is giving a speech in a public gathering,
16:32he is a different personality.
16:34So when he used to speak on an international forum,
16:38I used to listen to him with great interest.
16:41What was the choice of words of that person?
16:45And what was the flow?
16:48He used to make the other person shut up in two minutes.
16:53This was his magic.
16:55Tony Blair,
16:57what was the flaw of his personality?
17:01Leave that.
17:03I was a big fan of his language.
17:10And when he used to give a speech,
17:13I used to listen to him with great interest.
17:17There was a bomb blast in England.
17:22At that time,
17:23his G8 meeting was going on in Scotland.
17:31From there,
17:32he came out of the meeting on TV
17:35and exactly for,
17:37I think,
17:38quarter of a minute,
17:41for 45 seconds,
17:44he spoke in such a way,
17:49he said,
17:50some people are trying to change our way of life by force.
17:56We will not change that.
17:59We will take them to justice.
18:04That was all.
18:09Now,
18:10he had done such a big thing on a national level.
18:15He said three sentences and finished the matter.
18:21So,
18:22a person,
18:24who has been proven guilty,
18:28we can keep a restraint while talking about him.
18:33We can speak beautifully.
18:36Yes, Mr. Shah,
18:37this is a question and he says that
18:39there is an immoral atmosphere,
18:41whether it is social,
18:43political,
18:44religious,
18:45different sects,
18:46there is such an atmosphere.
18:48And,
18:49especially on social media,
18:51there is a lot of effect of it.
18:53Where people are making each other a victim of curses.
18:57So,
18:58young people are being badly affected by this.
19:01What is the way to get out of this?
19:05Look,
19:06I always say one thing,
19:08that we have to set personal examples everywhere.
19:14If,
19:16some senior people,
19:20take a risk,
19:23that their programs will not be so popular on social media,
19:30or their content will not be seen so much,
19:35and they move away from entertainment,
19:39and adopt modesty,
19:43after some time,
19:44you will see that this trend will gradually rise.
19:49And,
19:50on social media,
19:52the programs which are so loud,
19:55instead of them,
19:57there will be a rise in morality.
20:01Right.
20:02So,
20:03for this,
20:04we have to take a step forward.
20:06Those people who are seniors in this profession,
20:09or in this field,
20:11we have to set an example for them.
20:13Advice is never enough.
20:16A personal example is enough.
20:19In this,
20:20I think,
20:21there is no responsibility on the governments.
20:24I mean,
20:25any content program,
20:27the fact is,
20:28I have also seen,
20:29especially,
20:30regarding sectarianism,
20:32a lot of people are accusing each other.
20:36So,
20:37Like,
20:38a while ago,
20:39Yes.
20:40A while ago,
20:41I was having a conversation with you,
20:43and I was saying that,
20:45Pakistan is one of those countries,
20:47where there are a lot of laws.
20:49Hmm.
20:51So,
20:52in management,
20:53they teach us one thing,
20:56that,
20:59the inefficient,
21:01or incompetent,
21:05head of any institution,
21:08one of the signs of that is,
21:10that,
21:11he keeps issuing office orders,
21:13over and over again.
21:16But,
21:17the issues are never under control.
21:19So,
21:20if you take this example,
21:22a little further,
21:23then,
21:24it is about the country.
21:26Now,
21:27in our country,
21:28earlier,
21:29there were a few citizens.
21:31The number of regulations were less.
21:34But,
21:35the situation was good.
21:37Hmm.
21:39Now,
21:40there are ten laws for the same thing.
21:44Yes.
21:45But,
21:46there is no implementation.
21:48So,
21:49the government,
21:50perhaps,
21:51if,
21:52we only,
21:53talk about,
21:55what should be done,
21:57if we only talk about books,
22:00then,
22:01you are right,
22:02that the government should not bring
22:04regulations,
22:05and,
22:06it should be regulated.
22:08Hmm.
22:09But,
22:10the question is,
22:11that,
22:12before this,
22:13can we do anything from the government level?
22:16Hmm.
22:17Nothing could ever be done.
22:19This,
22:20where the situation is such,
22:22there,
22:23the public should come forward.
22:25Hmm.
22:26And,
22:27through personal examples,
22:29by bringing the public forward,
22:31I don't mean that,
22:32we should start Jalsa Jaloos,
22:34but,
22:35we should set personal examples,
22:37and,
22:38then,
22:39others will start following it on their own.
22:41For a moment,
22:42Shah sahab,
22:43we have to stop.
22:44Your talk is very important,
22:45but,
22:46the time is also very important.
22:47So,
22:48excuse us for a break,
22:49we will come back after the break.
22:50Welcome back,
22:51from where we left off.
22:52Shah sahab,
22:53this is a very interesting,
22:54analysis,
22:55a person has sent it.
22:56And,
22:57he is saying,
22:58the situation in the country is,
22:59that,
23:00in Darshi books,
23:01which are taught to ordinary children,
23:02in that,
23:03Mehmood Ghaznavi,
23:04is a Muslim leader.
23:06And,
23:07the children of the English medium,
23:08who are studying,
23:09there,
23:10he is a robber,
23:11who had come to rob.
23:13So,
23:14the division that will arise there,
23:16how much loss it will cause,
23:18the policy makers may not have an idea about it.
23:20And,
23:21in the same way,
23:22he says,
23:23if you go to the Urdu Bazaar,
23:24you will feel,
23:26that,
23:27literature is being read,
23:29there,
23:30a lot.
23:31How much loss it will cause.
23:33Here,
23:34should the government,
23:35not come forward,
23:36and make some arrangements,
23:37that,
23:38there should not be so much,
23:39division.
23:40Absolutely,
23:41it should be,
23:42at the level of the government.
23:44But,
23:45when,
23:46in any matter,
23:47the leaves of the tree,
23:48are cut down,
23:49such a tree,
23:50that,
23:51in it,
23:52there is a tree,
23:53which is cut down,
23:54and,
23:55leaves are cut down,
23:56such a tree,
23:57in which,
23:58there is an insect,
23:59then,
24:00that tree,
24:01the insect,
24:02will never die.
24:06Instead of cutting down the leaves,
24:08if we inject medicine,
24:09in its roots,
24:10then,
24:11after some time,
24:12its branches,
24:13its leaves,
24:14its trunk,
24:15everything,
24:16will be healthy.
24:19Unfortunately,
24:20we sort out,
24:21every matter,
24:22in the same way,
24:23that,
24:24when,
24:25an insect bites,
24:26leaves are cut down,
24:27but,
24:28the roots are not treated.
24:31This,
24:33that,
24:34you have said,
24:35that,
24:36a gentleman,
24:37asked a question,
24:38I will address him,
24:39that,
24:40he,
24:41in Urdu,
24:42called Mahmud Ghaznavi,
24:43a hero,
24:44and,
24:45in English,
24:46a dacoit.
24:47Yes.
24:48He made it,
24:49and presented it.
24:50Its treatment,
24:51is one,
24:52that,
24:53where,
24:54in our country,
24:55syllabus is set,
24:57in every country,
24:58properly,
25:00very celebrated,
25:02experts,
25:05cream of experts,
25:08on them,
25:10a board is made.
25:13A,
25:14commission is made,
25:16which,
25:18studies deeply,
25:23very finely,
25:24its,
25:27plus or minus point,
25:29positive and negative sides.
25:32After examining that,
25:34a syllabus is set.
25:36Now,
25:37that syllabus is not fixed,
25:38that,
25:39it becomes one for ten years.
25:40That,
25:41continuously,
25:42their study,
25:43continues,
25:44and,
25:45amendments come every year.
25:47The result is,
25:48that,
25:49in their country,
25:50the,
25:51course is set,
25:52syllabus is set.
25:54They,
25:55keep it in accordance,
25:56with their changing,
25:57national needs.
25:59Hmm.
26:01So,
26:02in our country too,
26:03this work is of that board,
26:05that,
26:06as text books,
26:08those books,
26:09should not be allowed to be introduced,
26:12which,
26:13give such projections,
26:15which,
26:16distort our history.
26:18Hmm.
26:20In the mind of a child,
26:21these seeds,
26:23that,
26:24our,
26:26heroes,
26:28were not heroes,
26:30they were robbers.
26:32They,
26:33are careful about this,
26:34which we are not paying attention to.
26:36Hmm.
26:39This,
26:40work will start from that board,
26:43and,
26:44then all these books,
26:46will be withdrawn,
26:47and other books,
26:48will be introduced.
26:49Hmm.
26:51Similarly,
26:52the issue of sectarianism,
26:53that we have talked about,
26:54in Urdu Bazaar,
26:55Urdu Bazaar,
26:56has no fault in that.
26:58Hmm.
27:00Living nations,
27:01rising nations,
27:02sometimes,
27:03they do not put a label on books.
27:06They do not put a label,
27:07on someone's opinion.
27:12They,
27:15from where these things,
27:16stem,
27:18Hmm.
27:20they stop,
27:22that source.
27:23If,
27:24in a river bank,
27:26a small creek,
27:27has fallen,
27:29and water is flowing through it,
27:31then,
27:32with the force of the water,
27:33it will increase.
27:35Now,
27:36water is spreading in the city,
27:37its treatment is not,
27:38that we,
27:39put water pumps,
27:40in the city,
27:41and,
27:42start removing the water,
27:43it will never come out.
27:44Hmm.
27:45Because,
27:46water will keep coming in,
27:47from that creek,
27:48and you will keep pumping it out.
27:51So,
27:52water will never come out.
27:54Stop that creek,
27:55and pump out the water,
27:56that is spreading.
27:58Hmm.
28:00Problem will be solved.
28:01Hmm.
28:02So,
28:03our mosques,
28:04are serving,
28:06very well,
28:08they are doing a very good job,
28:09there is no doubt about it.
28:12But,
28:13they should get a direction,
28:16so,
28:17from there,
28:19if we bring,
28:21like,
28:23in our place,
28:25there are,
28:26Imamis,
28:29Imam-e-Azam,
28:30Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifa,
28:33start from there.
28:35Now,
28:36there are four Imams,
28:37who have,
28:38a lot of following,
28:40Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifa,
28:43Hazrat Imam Shafi,
28:44Hazrat Imam Ahmed bin Ambal,
28:47so on and so forth.
28:49They will never tell each other,
28:52that he is doing wrong,
28:53he is doing wrong.
28:56Imam Malik is the fourth,
28:59they will never say that.
29:03So,
29:04if,
29:05we start from the level of Madrasa,
29:10that there,
29:11this sectarianism,
29:12if,
29:13this sectarianism,
29:17is stopped,
29:19then this book will stop automatically.
29:242-3 years ago,
29:26in the name of Pegham-e-Pakistan,
29:281800 Ulema were gathered,
29:31and together,
29:32they made a document,
29:33Pegham-e-Pakistan,
29:34in which,
29:35it was about sectarianism,
29:37that we will end it.
29:39And,
29:40some time ago,
29:41our Commander-in-Chief,
29:43he also had a meeting with the Ulema,
29:45there too,
29:46it was agreed upon,
29:47that this time,
29:48there is a great need,
29:49to end sectarianism.
29:51But,
29:52unfortunately,
29:53that can't be done practically.
29:55No,
29:56if we want to do it practically,
29:57then we are cutting the leaves.
29:58Yes.
30:00It won't start from there.
30:02We will have to end this root.
30:05Then,
30:06these Ulema got together,
30:08and they,
30:09made an oath,
30:10that we will end sectarianism.
30:13Then,
30:14they will be successful.
30:16Close that source,
30:17that's why I gave the example,
30:19that if there is a crack in the bond,
30:22then first,
30:23it is necessary to close it.
30:25So,
30:26from where these,
30:28stem,
30:29things come out,
30:33there,
30:35some arrangement of training should be made,
30:38that there,
30:39the syllabus that is being taught,
30:42the Dars-e-Nizami,
30:44similarly,
30:45the other,
30:47there,
30:48instead of revealing sectarianism,
30:53emphasis should be given on tolerance.
30:56That,
30:57that is their point of view,
30:58we should accept it,
30:59with an open heart,
31:01and we should,
31:03tolerate it,
31:04and they,
31:06the country belongs to everyone,
31:08they have a right in it,
31:10that according to their religion,
31:12they are all Muslims.
31:15So,
31:16this is all,
31:17whatever religion we belong to,
31:20we are all Muslims.
31:23So, in the Islamic country,
31:24Muslims are Muslims,
31:26minorities get protection.
31:29I often say,
31:31that in Islam,
31:33please promote this point,
31:36that in Islam,
31:38what is the status of minority?
31:44The protection of their life and wealth is our responsibility.
31:48It is the responsibility of Muslims.
31:51Their life and wealth,
31:53the respect for their places of worship,
31:57that is our responsibility,
31:58it is on us,
31:59that we have to respect them.
32:01We have to respect their beliefs.
32:05Only if,
32:06something is not permitted in the Islamic country,
32:10to minorities,
32:11that is their religion,
32:15they are not permitted to preach,
32:18but,
32:19anything short of that,
32:22that becomes the responsibility of Muslims,
32:24to protect them.
32:26So, where in Islam,
32:28this level of,
32:31tolerance is present,
32:33then why can't Muslims do it among themselves?
32:37Okay, Ijaz Aziz,
32:38the program ends here.
32:40Regarding minorities,
32:41the last thing Shah Sahib said,
32:42is that,
32:43in Islam,
32:44we should see,
32:45what are the rights of minorities,
32:46and how many are there.
32:48And this,
32:49the common people,
32:50if they listen to this,
32:51they should adopt this in their life.
32:54To protect their places of worship,
32:56to protect their religion,
32:58not only the permission to preach,
32:59not only that,
33:00but everything else,
33:02and their rights are very unjust.
33:04Here,
33:05with this message,
33:07I request you,
33:08keep sending us your questions,
33:10keep suggesting topics,
33:12Insha Allah,
33:13we will include them,
33:14and make the program even better.
33:16Ijaz Aziz,
33:17Allah Hafiz.
