00:41they love what he's about they love that he's no nonsense they love that he loves a fight yeah
00:47and that's why he gets the support and you think about 135 plus rounds he's been in with some of
00:53the most punishing and brutal opposition Joe Joyce will not worry him no there'll be no fear in
01:02Derek Chisora absolutely none at all and I think out of the two fighters tonight I think big Joe
01:08probably has the most to prove he has them two defeats against Zhile Zhang he also has a win
01:15then against Kaish Ali which was very very underwhelming to say the least so at a point
01:21you know a year and a half ago two years ago we were we were talking about Joe Joyce's
01:26and I was as well talking about him as being the next guy to rule the heavyweight division
01:31and it just shows you how quickly things can change when you talk about change only a crisis
01:38whether it's active whether it's perceived only that brings change and Joe Joyce has been through
01:46his own crisis is it going to bring change here against a wily opponent who's been there
01:52seen it done it and experienced everything the joy the heartache
02:04we've seen a lot of quality fights on this bill tonight with you know guys showing their class
02:10and and boxing beautifully and being being world-class at times we we may not see that
02:16tonight I think the both guys just fancy a bit of brute force and ignorance

02:31just marched up backwards there just marched right back with relative ease
02:48Joyce caught him a counter punch nearly took him to his knees worrying moment there for Jizora
02:56he's just landed a good shot straight away there I think the thing with both guys is
03:07that neither of them have the fastest hands in the world
03:13but it's it's sudden something brute force strength when it when it's landing
03:18but he still believes that he's going to be a world champion despite those those two defeats
03:28is all about the future overcoming obstacles good left up there from Jizora but again you're
03:36talking about he'd walk through them
03:47it'll be a war of attrition this one we all know that Joe Joyce

03:56the competition is the best form of motivation and Jizora will be desperate to put on a show here

05:38I think a lot of people thought that Joe Joyce couldn't be hurt myself included
05:43but them shots just bounced off his chin he needs to be careful
05:48oh these are big shots and they're fueling Chizora with a belief here
05:53that he can pull off the impossible pull off a big shot big round good round for Chizora
06:01Joyce's message to himself there are dark moments but like in
06:05life you get back on your feet you dust yourself off you get to work again

06:33you look at Joe and you look at the size of him and and the attributes he has and the strength
06:38and the chin that he has but you know if he just had a little bit more speed
06:44he would be twice the fighter that he already is
06:50and by that do you mean that you would like to see him coming in with less weight on no absolutely
06:55not I think that he done that before against against Zhili Zhang and it was to his detriment
07:00but I mean he's never going to be the fastest guy in the world he doesn't have the fastest hands but
07:06he's one of these fighters it takes one to or takes two to land one but there's a problem
07:12you're heavyweight and sometimes it only takes one shot to knock you out of the scene with the
07:17Zhang fight well that'll be in the the back of Chizora's mind as well he's having his successes
07:22in this fight so far but he doesn't want to present himself as an open target here for
07:27Joyce to land anything on him and he's going to need to measure how much he puts into these rounds
07:34as well so he doesn't leave himself short in the latter stages of the fight if indeed we get there
07:45good shots to the body there as well from Derek
07:51and we know what Derek's trying to do he's trying to get close and he's trying to land
07:54them big looping hooks Joe needs to be punching from a distance straight punches from a distance
08:01just to deter Derek from coming forward that was a good shot from Joe
08:13look of grim determination wants to grind his man down swings that right hand in and again
08:19you can see it coming from a considerable distance but Joyce again
08:23again doesn't do anything to get himself out of the way
08:28it was a decent uppercut though that Joyce did land just in that exchange
08:35i'm just looking at Derek's face we've seen this look many times before but it looks tired or yeah
08:42we haven't finished three rounds yet but again a bit like Beluda earlier on
08:47if he's tired or not he'll be swinging and while he's in there

11:07yeah it's a good uh it's a good line that you win the battle but when you win the war
11:11yeah i just i just can't help but look at his face and think why are you this exhausted but
11:18knowing Derek he's as brave as they come and he's just going to keep throwing
11:22we'll have an idea why he why he's exhausted you've got a 20 20 plus still man marching forward
11:29and you're punching shots off his head that may be part of the reason
11:36well his performance already regardless of what else happens will maybe have a surprise

11:48and Joyce hasn't really significantly stunned his opponent here with anything that he's thrown but
11:56that can change in an instant but he takes again another good right hand leaves himself a little
12:02off balance then he was lucky that there wasn't a counter coming in but again it's another hard
12:06round and Joyce is laboring in an instant but it's a good job so far uh being done by by Derek
12:28okay timing and patience there's a Joyce tracks his man yeah i think maybe the better time of
12:36getting would be later on in this fight i mean if Joe if Joe does what he's doing right now to
12:40start us off he's punching from distance doesn't allow Derek to get close when Derek tries to
12:45wing a big hook and you take a step back i don't think it has to be rocket rocket sense
12:53simple boxing can win this fight for Joe
12:56but Derek Derek Derek's doing okay he needs to move his head a little bit more

13:46i think sometimes with Derek the shots look to be a little bit exaggerated when they land on
13:52Derek because he he like he is tired he's obviously very brave and he'd stay in and he'd keep fighting
13:58but because he kind of he gets he lands a shot and he falls back onto the ropes i think it makes
14:03it look worse than what they actually are plenty of diligence plenty of endurance shows so far
14:10that was a good uppercut but uh Chisora walks straight on too
14:24how many times he's landed it what three four times now he's landing them they're not doing
14:30a lot it's forcing Joe Joyce to come at him open up again
14:39for the crowd really getting behind Derek Chisora here they're loving every bit of this performance
14:47is everything about the man that they love yeah this is Derek Chisora this is what he's about
14:54he loves a fight and as long as he's allowed to continue to fight he keeps doing it
15:00he's landed some good shots Joe Joe started this round quite well but i think Derek just
15:04some of the bigger shots has probably stolen it maybe more than stolen it

15:18because the only one who has grown in confidence since the opening bell has been Derek Chisora
15:24walks on to a good shot left-handed from Joyce and now he's beginning to unload
15:31and this is where it could all turn in an instant he's slipping a few of these
15:38he was hurt that was a good shot from Joe he just needs to try and keep this kind of momentum and
15:44pace keep the pace high we know that Joe can fight at a high pace he's extremely fit for a heavyweight

17:09better the uh the more craft the better technique the bigger shots being landed by Joe Joyce
17:23and every time you think that the the tide is is turning Chisora turns it back
17:28in his favour half a minute to go in round six here he always has that in his locker Derek i
17:35mean he we talk about his bravery and how tough he is but yeah he'll take he'll literally take
17:4010 shots and land one big massive hook and that's why oh what a shot
17:49how many of those right hands as he landed here four in the last round at least three here
18:06a couple of good shots there as well from Derek but that eye's just swelling up and it's
18:12annoying him a little bit

18:33Derek starting on the front foot here needs to adapt and revise here Joyce
18:40now this is the distance that Joe Joyce needs to be boxing from just here

18:57once again finding his way to the target and he switches right into the body left hook

19:43auricles i don't think so i don't think he looks as fatigued as Derek um i think that Derek's body

21:10and that's why i just don't think it's as clear cut as everybody else around me

21:21but is this where we start to see some fear some angst anxiety apprehension beginning to creep in

21:50but Joe took it really well and he just keeps coming and coming back but that was a quality

22:24scoring rounds i mean Derek is clearly landing the better shots the more the more tail and eye

23:23shots there from Derek and then Joe literally goes forward lands a jab and Derek falls under

23:46great comeback again from Chisora the old warrior isn't going to be counted out yet
23:56being told to keep it up back to the ropes he goes these are important moments
24:02he's only got seconds to hang on here to take it into round nine Joyce is piling on
24:09the pressure here again good left hook from Joyce but Chisora again digs in deep
24:17coming back again huge character being shown the crowd loving it everybody
24:22it's close Joyce's come back and secured him we believe the last three right on
24:35Derek looks hard again yeah he's staggered Joyce is over he's got him pinned on the
24:40ropes again he comes out swinging he knows he can't stand there and just suck up all these
24:46punches Joyce is going to unload on him incredible courage Joe has to be so careful Derek I mean
24:55Derek's like a wounded animal it's when he's at his most dangerous a bit of a bit of Nigel Ben about
25:00him where he looks to be hurt he looks to be almost out on his feet and then he just throws something
25:05back extreme bravery there's another good right hand that landed but Joe just continues to march

25:19and there's not a lot coming back at the moment he's doing just enough to try and
25:24fend him off to keep him at distance there's a long way to go in this round yet
25:29but Joyce beginning to get more and more success as we creep to the midway point in round nine
25:36but again just when you think the tank is empty the tank has run dry Chisora is right back at him

26:06he was a bit of a sitting target there Joyce did not take full advantage these are going to be four
26:13very long minutes that are left in this fight Chisora's got a big shot of winning this if
26:19he can hang on if he can avoid Joyce's
26:42what a moment he looked out on his feet did Chisora
26:45but he's somehow summoned up from the depths it looks like Chisora's the one that's just been
26:51knocked all right this is this fence crazy Joyce his career is hanging in the balance here

27:15he comes forward again uses the ropes to get some leverage in there and runs back into his corner
27:28maybe to save his career he's got to take his man out maybe some believe to win this
27:38I honestly don't think I've ever seen a fighter as exhausted as Derek Chisora

28:19he has got to dig up a punch from somewhere that he's going to take Chisora out
