00:00After returning to WWE, Rhea Ripley challenged Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship
00:19at Summerslam in Cleveland.
00:22This all started when the devious Liv Morgan attacked Rhea Ripley and injured her shoulder
00:28right after her triumphant match at WrestleMania, forcing Mommy to relinquish the Women's
00:34World Championship.
00:35Following this, Liv announced that she would take everything away from Rhea, her former
00:41tag team partner who also ruined and injured her career to some degree.
00:46Not too long after this, she went on to win the Women's World Championship with the
00:50help of Dominik Mysterio.
00:54Mommy's little dirty Dom in the Judgment Day faction helped her, or did he mean to
00:59do it?
01:00It isn't clear.
01:01Dom never wanted to help Liv, at least it appeared that way.
01:03In fact, he wanted to help her lose so that he could avenge Mommy's injury, but he accidentally
01:10helped her.
01:11Morgan successfully defended her title against Becky Lynch in a follow-up steel cage match
01:16on Monday Night Raw, and again, it was Dominik's unintentional interference that helped her
01:24secure the title victory.
01:25She then laid a big ol' smooch, a kiss on Mysterio on the lips, as the match came to
01:32a close, and yes, it left us all spilling our collective tea.
01:38Liv Morgan began pursuing Dom after this, but members of the Judgment Day tried to keep
01:43them apart.
01:44Despite Dom insisting that he had no involvement with her at all, there were instances where
01:51they appeared unusually close, sparking speculation among fans that tea was spilling.
02:00However Liv proved to be a blessing for the Judgment Day that they never expected, as
02:05she helped Finn Balor and JD McDonough win and defeat Miz and R-Truth for the World Tag
02:12Team Championships.
02:13She even tagged with Dom to face his father, Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega, and helped him
02:19defeat his father.
02:24Following this, Dom and Liv almost kissed in the ring once again, and that's when
02:28Rhea Ripley finally made her comeback.
02:31She chased Morgan away and glared at Dom, who appeared embarrassed.
02:36The next week on Raw, she challenged Liv for the Women's World Championship at Summerslam,
02:41which was expected, and now it's official, Liv Morgan will defend her championship against
02:45the former champion Rhea Ripley at the show of the summer.
02:49Now the question is, who will win?

03:30choice of going with Liv Morgan to win this big match.
03:33Not just because she has a lot more to do with the title currently, but because WWE
03:37can tell an even longer, more captivating story with Morgan and Ripley, and we all know
03:42that Triple H and his creative team are a fan of long-term storytelling.
03:47Liv and Rhea have a storied history together in WWE, and they have an opportunity for Liv
03:53to create a memorable rivalry between the two.
03:56They began working together as a tag team back in March of 2022, and quickly became
04:01a fan favorite.
04:02At WrestleMania 38, they competed for the women's tag team titles, and on night two
04:06in a fatal four-way, it saw Sasha Banks and Naomi win, with Liv Morgan taking the pin.
04:11The duel of Morgan and Ripley lost another match to Banks and Naomi on April 18, 2022's
04:17episode of Money at Raw.
04:19This is when things changed for them.
04:21Ripley finally had enough, and attacked her smaller in-ring partner in the ring, giving
04:26Morgan a riptide.
04:28The next week, Ripley explained her actions backstage, saying that the attack happened
04:33because she had finally opened her eyes.
04:37In the meantime, Rhea joined the purple and black bad guy group, the Judgment Day, and
04:43went on to beat Morgan in a one-on-one match.
04:46Following this, Ripley started torturing Dominik Mysterio, causing him to betray his own father,
04:51his own flesh and blood, and align with the Judgment Day.
04:55Rhea and Dom started an on-screen relationship that has certainly captivated and interested
05:00fans and made for a whole lot of memes.
05:04Now, let's return to Liv.
05:08They crossed paths a few times after this, during the Women's Royal Rumble.
05:12In 2023, Rhea entered as the first contestant, followed by Liv Morgan at number two.
05:18They both lasted until the final two, where Rhea ultimately eliminated Liv to win the
05:23match.
05:24Ah, Liv, you want the revenge, but you aren't getting it here.
05:27These two were becoming fierce rivals, with encounters intensifying between each other
05:32every time they faced off, and obviously personal issues brewing under the surface constantly
05:38between them.
05:39Rhea won the SmackDown Women's Championship from Charlotte Flair in a show-stealer at
05:43WrestleMania 39, which was later rebranded as the Women's World title.
05:47She went on to have a dominant run with the title and beat everyone that she could.
05:52The next development in Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan's story happened in July of 2023,
05:57when Ripley savagely broke Liv's shoulder.
06:00This was done to write Morgan off TV, who had injured her shoulder in real life.
06:05Yet another setback for Liv Morgan.
06:08Morgan returned at the 2024 Royal Rumble, and then went on her revenge tour.
06:14An iconic twist, Morgan, who was gone for six months because of the injury given to
06:18her by Ripley, was now the one accidentally injuring Mommy's own shoulder.
06:23It was shoulder for shoulder, for real this time, in a backstage brawl.
06:27Ripley had to relinquish her world title, and this was actually a good thing, as it
06:33allowed WWE to capitalize on Rhea not being there and emphasize a full-blown Liv Morgan
06:39heel turn, her actually having the power and manipulating others around her while Rhea
06:44wasn't there.
06:45Rhea was getting huge reactions from fans, so it was a perfect opportunity to flip the
06:49heat and make someone a real heel.
06:52Now with Rhea back from injury, fans are expecting her to destroy Liv Morgan for all
06:57the things she did, and took her man, and disrupted her faction, and took her title,
07:02and of course, it's Rhea's turn for revenge.
07:05Well, that's the safe route to put the title back on Rhea, as she's still a very popular
07:10female superstar.
07:11But safe isn't always the route to go right now.
07:15Yeah, there's a little bit more juice in this berry to be squeezed.
07:19There's a lot of possibility of Liv being the champion.
07:22Number one, she is doing the best work of her career right now, truly telling a story
07:28with a simple look to the camera, and dropping the title will hurt her momentum.
07:34Second, she has to beat Rhea Ripley to conclude her revenge tour.
07:40Remember, it was Rhea who started all of this by turning on Liv those years ago, and later
07:45injuring her.
07:47So yeah, even if you like Rhea more, you have to understand that Liv Morgan, as the villain,
07:53thinks that she's the hero in her story.
07:56Finally, chasing the title would allow Rhea to become an even bigger babyface.
08:00The story will culminate with Rhea defeating Liv to reclaim her title, but not at Summerslam
08:062024.
08:07Instead, Liv will retain her title in this hypothetical scenario of ours at the biggest
08:12party of the summer, and Rhea may not be happy at this party.
08:16But how will this happen?
08:17The answer lies in Dominic Mysterio.
08:20We mentioned that Liv has been persuading Dominic for months, ever since Rhea got injured.
08:26Even though Dom has been reluctant trying to deny her romantic advances, there is a
08:32chance that he will betray mommy to be Liv's man, Morgan's man.
08:38What a better place to do it than Summerslam.
08:42The biggest sign that Dom will cost Rhea the match is that Liv stated that she has
08:46developed feelings for Mysterio.
08:49Oh, you don't say?
08:51Rhea has a history of being domineering and sometimes cold to Dominic, berating him and
08:57seeing Liv treat him with some level of adoration, love, and dare I say, respect?
09:03Yeah, respect for Dominic Mysterio is a weird thing to say.
09:07Maybe that gives Dirty Dom some motivation to support her over Rhea.
09:11Wow, yeah, wrestling is a soap opera for sure.
09:14Also Rhea said that Dominic belongs to her.
09:17No one's your pet, Rhea.
09:19Calm down.
09:20This may not sit well with Dirty Dom, who maybe has a little bit more confidence since
09:24Rhea hasn't been around.
09:25And there is a chance that he will feel offended and cost mommy the title.
09:30Finn and JD of Judgment Day are on the sidelines in this whole thing.
09:34They won the World Tag Team Championships because of Liv, and they might also help her,
09:41adding further complications to Ripley's quest for revenge and the title.
09:46Liv and Dom will certainly be the most hated couple in WWE when this happens.

10:22Rhea will have to overcome all of the heartbreak and loss and defeat to become an even more

10:31Triple H likes the slow burn and plenty of build, and Summerslam is the perfect place
10:37to stretch out this issue between Rhea and Liv Morgan.
