00:14Personnel of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, or PCSO, are distributing charitimba, a plastic water pail containing relief goods, to affected residents.
00:28Valenzuela and Navotas received 500 charitimba each, while 150 charitimba were handed over to Barangay Damayan, Fresco, and Quezon City.
00:40Other PCSO branches and Small Town Lottery Authorized Agent Corporation, or STLAACs, have also conducted relief drive in their respective areas.
00:53As a response to the call of PCSO General Manager Mel Robles, GM Robles said their relief goods distribution was halted on Wednesday as they had returned to the office due to impossible roads in Metro Manila.
01:09Meanwhile, the AgriPartylist Headquarters has been opened since Wednesday to provide shelter, food, and medicines for stranded passengers and families who evacuated.
01:24According to AgriPartylist Representative Wilbert Lee, 170 displaced families were accommodated in their headquarters.
01:34They also provided food and medicines to the residents of Barangay Little Baguio and Salapan in San Juan City and in the evacuation centers in Manila and Quezon City.
01:46The salon stressed cooperation between public and private sectors is important because it will boost relief efforts during calamities and disasters.
01:58According to the latest data of Office of the Civil Defense, or OCD, more than 189,000 families, equivalent to over 900,000 individuals, were affected by Super Typhoon Karina.
