00:00Is there a clear idea of what's going on with the takeover situation and what does it mean
00:22in terms of transfer business as well because they've had a couple of outgoings as well
00:27and a big one obviously with Anana as well to Aston Villa.
00:31Yeah, so obviously the freeking group have pulled out, have to gain exclusivity from
00:39majority owner Farhad Moshiri and it is a little bit disappointing for Everton fans
00:44definitely because, you know, they had the, you know, last year the MSP sports capitals,
00:50you know, maybe looking at buying a percentage of the club and then obviously the 7-7-7 saga
00:55which dragged on far too long and now this.
01:00I mean the positive is that Dan Freeken, you know, he's paid off one of the previous debts
01:05and obviously Everton owe him the money now, it's £200m but look, I think, you know, Dan
01:11Freeken, he is a legitimate businessman and for him to get to the point where he's probably
01:19walked away, he's probably quite comfortable with the terms that have been agreed with
01:24the takeover and maybe he's done that as well because, you know, he knows that there will
01:28be suits as well but he just doesn't, I think it just got a little bit too complicated with
01:32the debt that's there and, you know, the set of money that 7-7-7 provides and they're back
01:39as ACAF and yeah, you can understand, if it was complicated I think that's why they've
01:44pulled out.
01:45So it is disappointing because, you know, Roma fans have been really impressed by what
01:49he's done in the four years and obviously Everton were hoping for that stability.
01:53In terms of the transfer window, I mean the message is coming out to the club that it's
01:59not going to impact Everton's transfer window too heavily, certainly Jared Branthwaite isn't
02:04going anywhere.
02:05As you say, the sole Amazon are now, so you would probably think that Everton, I think
02:13everyone knew that one big player would be leaving this summer, that would be fair to
02:18say and obviously Everton met that PSR with sales of fringe players and now Onana's gone,
02:23what will happen with the money, will it be reinvested into the squad?
02:27I don't think all of it will, to be quite frank, but I think some of it will.
02:31But yeah, Everton have made it clear that just because this has happened that there's
02:39not going to be a fire sale whatsoever.
02:41There will be to suit us back in for Everton, there were plenty of parties who were looking
02:46to buy the club and you would like to think that a few of them are going to come back
02:51to the table as well.
02:52So financially they are fairly, I don't want to say comfortable, but they're quite relaxed
02:58about the situation.
