00:00So I look forward to hearing from Prime Minister Netanyahu today.
00:07Like a lot of us, I had the opportunity to visit Israel.
00:09I went in March.
00:12I went to a village that I've been to before, Kfar Aza, where 63 individuals were killed.
00:19Little kids were murdered.
00:21The stories were just horrible.
00:22They're a half a mile from Gaza.
00:25So it's clear what has to happen here.
00:27Israel needs to win.
00:28Hamas needs to be destroyed.
00:31What's disappointing is the Biden administration has not been in support of Israel.
00:36Democrats have not been in support of Israel.
00:39Vice President Harris has not been in support of Israel.
00:43We can't forget the hostages, American hostages, that are there.
00:48My office, we have a picture of all the hostages up outside my office.
00:52We put information out about them and their families every day.
00:56We can't forget what's happened.
00:58I look forward to hearing from Prime Minister Netanyahu of how the war is going, how they're
01:02going to destroy Hamas, what they need from America.
01:06When I was over there in March, what they were telling me is American support, it's
01:11not just that they need our military weapons, but they need our verbal support.
01:18And unfortunately, this administration is not doing it.
01:21I can't believe Vice President Harris is not showing up today.
01:24It's a slap in the face to the only democracy in the Middle East, our greatest ally in the
01:30Middle East, somebody that needs our support.
01:33It doesn't make any sense.
01:35By Republicans in the House and Senate, we're going to show up, we're going to do everything
01:38we can to help the state of Israel, help all of our constituents that are Jewish, stop
01:45this anti-Semitism.
01:47And I look forward to standing with my Republican colleagues at this joint session, doing everything
01:53we can to support Israel.
