01:24We will discuss the commandments of Nazar and Mannat today, Inshallah.
01:29Nazar says to make something obligatory on yourself and then to fulfill it.
01:34Whatever a person makes obligatory on himself, if it is worship,
01:38worship is intended, it is for the pleasure of Allah,
01:41if its conditions are met, then it becomes necessary to fulfill it.
01:45Nazar and Mannat are both the same.
01:47Whether it is called Mannat or Nazar, it is the same thing.
01:50First of all, understand that to make a lot of Nazar and to make a lot of Mannat is not a pleasant thing.
01:59There is no demand from us on the basis of Shariah,
02:02nor is there any instruction from Shariah that we should make Nazar again and again,
02:07or make a lot of Mannat as some people do.
02:11Yes, it is necessary that when Mannat is accepted, when Nazar is accepted,
02:15then if its Shariah conditions are met, then it becomes necessary to fulfill it.
02:19Now you have to fulfill it.
02:21You made it obligatory on yourself, so now you will fulfill it.
02:24If you do not fulfill it, then you will be a sinner.
02:26But to make a lot of Mannat on yourself, as many people have this habit,
02:31especially our sisters.
02:33There is a number of women who make a lot of Mannat on their own,
02:37and they make a lot of Mannat.
02:39So, to make a lot of Mannat, to make a lot of Mannat on your own,
02:42this is not a pleasant thing.
02:44The only thing left to do is to make a lot of Mannat on the elders of the religion,
02:49or to make a lot of Mannat on the companions of the Prophet,
02:51or to make a lot of Mannat on the followers of the Prophet,
02:53or to make a lot of Mannat on the saints of the Prophet,
02:55or to make a lot of Mannat on the books of Sunnah.
02:57So, first of all, understand that they did not make a lot of Mannat,

03:03Sometimes when someone made a Mannat, they fulfilled it.
03:06The second thing to keep in mind is that the elders of the religion
03:09had complete control over their Nafs.
03:13They had a lot of self-control.
03:16They had a lot of Zabt-e-Nafs.
03:18They also had a lot of taste and interest in worship.
03:21So, if they made a Mannat, they also fulfilled it.
03:26Whereas, in our society,
03:29the people who have the same strength, ability and capability,
03:33they are less.
03:34Just like we have food,
03:36just like we have water and air,
03:38because of this, people already do not have so much strength.
03:41Physically, the strength is not so strong.
03:44Secondly, the taste and interest in worship is not the same in everyone.
03:48And especially in the nearness of the Day of Judgment,
03:50the taste and interest in worship,
03:52the way it should be,
03:54it is becoming less and less.
03:56And in Shariah,
03:58instead of quantity,
04:00there is more emphasis on condition.
04:02Instead of quantity, there is more emphasis on quality.
04:04The worship that you do,
04:06even if you do it a little,
04:07but its quality should be good.
04:09Its condition should be good.
04:11There should be happiness and pleasure in the worship.
04:13There should be the intention of Allah's pleasure.
04:15And its etiquettes,
04:17the protocols of worship,
04:18should be completely followed.
04:20So, the worship that you are doing with the protocols,
04:24the worship in which its condition,
04:26its soul,
04:27happiness and pleasure are enshrined,
04:30it is understood,
04:31it is clear that
04:32that worship,
04:33in comparison to that worship,
04:34Allah is better,
04:35much greater,
04:36in which the SOPs are not enshrined,
04:39the protocols of worship are not enshrined,
04:41the happiness and pleasure are not enshrined.
04:43So, the worship,
04:45the obligatory worship,
04:46we have to do it.
04:47But if you have to add anything on yourself,
04:50then do it to the extent that you can do it well.
04:53So, the elders of the religion,
04:55they could do it.
04:56So, if they had such a wish or intention,
04:59then they used to fulfill it.
05:01Now, our people are weak,
05:03they are not able to fulfill it sometimes.
05:05And sometimes,
05:06it is also the case that
05:07the memorization is not so strong.
05:09Sometimes, the women
05:10fulfill their wishes
05:11and then forget it.
05:12So, if you have fulfilled your wish once
05:14and it is in accordance with the legal conditions,
05:16then it is necessary to fulfill it now.
05:18If you do not fulfill it now,
05:20then you will be a sinner.
05:21So, you did such a thing yourself,
05:23because of which you fell into sin.
05:26And when a person has accepted Sharih Mannat
05:29and after accepting Sharih Mannat,
05:31if he does not fulfill it,
05:32then his impurity is also revealed.
05:34It happens again and again
05:35that a person has accepted Mannat,
05:37and after accepting Mannat,
05:38if he had not fulfilled it,
05:40then because of that,
05:41there is a hindrance in his affairs.
05:44Because it is a sin
05:45not to fulfill the Mannat.
05:46And when he did not fulfill the Mannat,
05:47and committed a sin,
05:48then the sin has its own impurity.
05:50That impurity is being revealed.
05:52Sometimes in domestic affairs,
05:53in financial affairs,
05:54sometimes in other things.
05:55Now, instead of assessing himself,
05:57sometimes he runs here,
05:58sometimes he runs there,
05:59that I don't know,
06:00someone has done something,
06:01I don't know what it is,
06:02people are jealous of me,
06:03they envy me.
06:04Whether someone has done something
06:05or not,
06:06this is a matter of the future.
06:07But whatever you have done with yourself,
06:09you must keep in mind
06:10that whatever sin you have committed,
06:12to repent of that sin,
06:13to turn towards Allah,
06:14and if you have accepted Mannat,
06:15then you must fulfill it.
06:16If it was Sharih Mannat,
06:17then it is necessary to fulfill it.
06:18You must fulfill it.
06:19If you have not fulfilled it,
06:20then you must repent of it.
06:21If you have not accepted Mannat,
06:22then you must fulfill it.
06:23You must fulfill it.
06:24So, you should not accept
06:25too many Mannat,
06:26but if you have accepted it,
06:27then it is necessary
06:28to fulfill it.
06:29This is the commandment of Sharih.
06:30This has also been said
06:31in the book of Sunnah.
06:32Allah the Almighty
06:33has also said
06:34in the Holy Qur'an,
06:35Furqan-e-Hameed,
06:36wal yufu nuzurahum.
06:37In Surah Hajj,
06:38Allah the Almighty has said
06:39that they should fulfill
06:40their vows.
06:41That is,
06:42those who have accepted Mannat,
06:43now they should fulfill
06:44their vows,
06:45fulfill their Mannat.
06:46Similarly,
06:47in Surah Ad-Dahr,
06:48where Allah the Almighty
06:49has stated the reward
06:50of pious people.
06:51Allah the Almighty
06:52has stated the reward
06:53of pious people.
06:54Allah the Almighty
06:55has spoken about pious people.
06:56Further,
06:57Allah the Almighty
06:58has stated their deeds
06:59because of which
07:00those pious people
07:01will be rewarded.
07:02So, Allah the Almighty
07:03has stated their deeds
07:04and said
07:05yufu na bin nazri
07:06that they should fulfill
07:07their vows.
07:08They should fulfill
07:09their Mannat.
07:10This has been stated
07:11by Allah the Almighty.
07:12So, you should fulfill
07:13your vows.
07:14This commandment
07:15is also mentioned
07:16in the Holy Qur'an,
07:17Furqan-e-Hameed.
07:18It is also mentioned
07:19in Ahadith-e-Tayyaba.
07:20If a person
07:21fulfills his Mannat
07:22of piousness,
07:23then it is necessary
07:24that he should fulfill it.
07:25And if he fulfills
07:26his Mannat of
07:27disobedience to sin,
07:28then he should not
07:29fulfill his Mannat.
07:30This commandment
07:31is mentioned
07:32in Ahadith-e-Tayyaba
07:33that if you have
07:34fulfilled your Mannat,
07:35then you should see
07:36whether your Mannat
07:37is of piousness
07:38or of sin.
07:39If it is of piousness,
07:40then you should fulfill it.
07:41If it is of sin,
07:42then you should not
07:43fulfill it.
07:44Similarly,
07:45it is also mentioned
07:46that a person
07:47should fulfill
07:48his Mannat
07:49of piousness
07:50and of wisdom.
07:51If a person
07:52has skills
07:53and capacity,
07:54then he should not
07:55fulfill his Mannat
07:56of piousness
07:57more than his own
07:58capability and strength.
07:59It is also mentioned
08:00in Ahadith-e-Tayyaba
08:01that a person
08:02should not
08:03fulfill his Mannat
08:04of powerlessness,
08:05of blindness,
08:06of darkness.
08:07It is not possible
08:08to fulfill
08:09his Mannat
08:10of powerlessness
08:11and of darkness
08:12more than his own
08:13capability
08:14and power.
08:15And as I mentioned
08:16earlier,
08:17As I said earlier, to believe too much, to believe repeatedly, to believe excessively is not good anyway.
08:22But if you want to believe, then you should fulfill it, but you should not put any restrictions in it.
08:27When Huzoor, may Allah be pleased with him, conquered Mecca,
08:32on the occasion of the conquest of Mecca, a man came and said,
08:36Huzoor, I had taken a vow that if Mecca is conquered, then I will offer nafl in Baitul Maqdis.
08:40Huzoor, may Allah be pleased with him, said, you can offer nafl here.
08:43He said again, Huzoor, I had taken a vow that I will offer nafl in Baitul Maqdis.
08:47Huzoor, may Allah be pleased with him, said, you can offer nafl here.
08:49He said again, Huzoor, I had taken a vow that I will offer nafl in Baitul Maqdis.
08:51Huzoor, may Allah be pleased with him, said, do as you please.
08:54Huzoor, may Allah be pleased with him, guided us through his words, his instructions, his style of action,
09:02that such things should not bring a barrier on themselves.
09:07If you have accepted, then this is also Baitullah, Masjid-ul-Haram, you can offer nafl here.
09:12But when he saw that he insisted, that he wanted to offer nafl in Baitul Maqdis,
09:18then Huzoor also allowed him to offer nafl here.
09:21If you want to offer nafl here, then it will be possible.
09:23But if you want to offer nafl there, then you can offer nafl there.
09:26But still, a person should accept the mannat that he can do and he should not put any barriers in it.
09:34Once a man came to Harati Abdullah bin Abbas and asked,
09:39Huzoor, a man accepted the mannat that if Allah gives me salvation from the enemies,
09:44then I will sacrifice myself in the way of Allah.
09:47Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas said, ask Masrooq.
09:51Masrooq is a follower of Jalil-ul-Qadr.
09:54And Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas is a good student and a jurist himself.
09:58So, as it happens that a great scholar, a great teacher,
10:01sometimes to show the excellence of a great scholar,
10:07to show his respect, he draws people's attention to him or refers them to him.
10:13One of his objectives was to show his importance.
10:15And secondly, sometimes the teacher examines the answer given by this scholar.
10:20There is also a way to examine his ability.
10:22So, Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas said, ask Masrooq.
10:25Now, when Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas asked Masrooq, he said in response,
10:28Listen, if you are a believer, then do not do this.
10:32Because if you sacrifice yourself, then it is a sin to kill a believer.
10:38And it is a very big sin.
10:40And if, God forbid, you are not a believer, you are a non-believer,
10:44then why are you killing yourself and hurrying to go to hell?
10:49Do one thing, take a frog and sacrifice it in the way of Allah,
10:53then the mannat will be done.
10:54And such a mannat should not be accepted.
10:56But if you have accepted it, then sacrifice a frog in the way of Allah.
10:59It is said that the work of disobeying Allah, the work of sin,
11:04that mannat is not to be accepted.
11:06The mannat is to be accepted for a good deed.
11:09And in that too, see, if you ask Allah for a prayer,
11:12if you ask Allah for a prayer, then Allah also accepts the prayer.
11:19He also fulfills the prayer.
11:20You read Salatul Hajjah, read Nawafil to Allah,
11:23it is also blessed.
11:25It is also a blessing of prayer.
11:27It is not necessary that you accept a mannat,
11:29or if you accept a mannat, then only the work will be done,
11:32or only then will you be heard.
11:34This is not necessary.
11:35But if you have accepted it, then you have to fulfill the mannat.
11:40You have to fulfill the mannat.
11:41The mannat that you have to accept, what kind of mannat do you have to accept?
11:44The mannat is for a good deed.
11:46It is the mannat of worship.
11:47And what is worship?
11:48It is the worship that is intended.
11:51It is the worship that is intended.
11:53The meaning of the word worship is that it is the self-seeking of the Shariah,
11:57and not a means for other worship.
12:00Like ablution.
12:01Ablution is also a form of worship.
12:03But ablution is not intended,
12:05rather it is a means for Salat.
12:07Salat is intended for worship,
12:09and ablution is a means for it.
12:11So the worship that is intended,
12:13the mannat will be accepted for it,
12:15whenever it is accepted.
12:16And the mannat that will be accepted,
12:19its essence should be obligatory or obligatory.
12:22So if someone has accepted the mannat of going to the mosque,
12:25or has accepted the mannat of seeing the Holy Quran,
12:28or has accepted the mannat of reciting the Holy Quran,
12:31then this is not a Shariah mannat.
12:33The mannat will be of Salat.
12:35The mannat will be of fasting.
12:37The mannat will be of Hajj.
12:39The mannat will be of charity.
12:41The mannat will be of sacrifice.
12:42These are all things whose essence is obligatory or obligatory.
12:46Ladies and gentlemen,

13:13The meaning of intended worship is
13:15that the worship that is required by Shariah
13:17should be done directly.
13:19It should not be used as a means for any other worship.
13:22I gave an example as a means.
13:25Like ablution.
13:26Ablution is also a form of worship.
13:27But it is required as a means for Salat.
13:30So ablution itself is not intended for worship.
13:33There is a caller here.

14:28its essence,
14:29its essence should be fardh or wajib.
14:32Its essence should have a fardh or wajib in it.
14:36Like Salat,
14:37fasting,
14:38charity,
14:39Hajj,
14:40sacrifice.
14:41So, if their essence has a fardh or wajib,
14:44then this kind of mannat can be accepted.
14:47And this kind of mannat will be accepted.
14:49For example,
14:50the mannat of Nafl reading,
14:51or the mannat of Nafli fasting,
14:53or the mannat of Nafli charity,
14:56or the mannat of Hajj,
14:58or the mannat of Umrah,
15:00or the mannat of sacrifice,
15:02or the mannat of killing an animal
15:04and spending it in the way of God,
15:06this kind of mannat will be accepted,
15:08especially for the poor.
15:09So, if their essence has a fardh or wajib,
15:12then this kind of mannat can be accepted.
15:15The rest is the mannat of those
15:17whose essence does not have a fardh or wajib.
15:20For example,
15:21reciting the Holy Quran,
15:24or going to the mosque,
15:28or seeing Musaf Sharif,
15:30or visiting the Holy Quran,
15:32this kind of mannat
15:34is not considered as Shari'ah mannat.
15:36For example,
15:38Now, if we look at the Quran,
15:40there are two things in the Quran.
15:42One, in the Quran,
15:44the recitation of the Holy Quran is done.
15:47The Holy Quran is recited.
15:48Second,
15:49if there is something to eat or drink,
15:52it is fed to someone.
15:54Those who read the Quran,
15:55and those who are at home,
15:56they themselves eat it.
15:57So, there is no distinction of the poor.
16:00Now, if we look at this,
16:02there is no such thing in it
16:05whose essence does not have a fardh or wajib.
16:09This is the Holy Quran.
16:11So, teaching the Holy Quran
16:13is a simple thing.
16:15It does not have an essence of fardh or wajib.
16:18But, the recitation of the Quran,
16:20now, it is right that
16:21reciting the Holy Quran
16:23during Salah
16:25is a fardh in Qiyam.
16:27But, the recitation of the Holy Quran
16:29is not a fardh in itself.
16:30Rather, it is a natural fardh.
16:32It is fardh due to Salah.
16:34If we look at it from the perspective of Salah,
16:36the recitation of the Holy Quran
16:38is a fardh.
16:39So, reciting the Holy Quran
16:41is a good deed.
16:43But, since it is not a fardh,
16:46then the intention of worship
16:48is the recitation of the Holy Quran.
16:49But, the recitation of the Holy Quran
16:52by itself is not wajib.
16:55Where it is wajib,
16:56it is naturally wajib.
16:58It is not wajib-le-ain.
17:00Therefore,
17:01the recitation of the Holy Quran
17:03by itself is not wajib.
17:05So, it is not necessary
17:07to fulfill the Shari'ah.
17:09So, here again,
17:10the Holy Quran is the Khatm-e-Quran.
17:11It is being recited by others.
17:13We are reciting it by ourselves,
17:14others are also reciting it.
17:15So, it is not necessary to fulfill it.
17:17Similarly,
17:18when the Holy Quran is being recited,
17:22then the food,
17:24drinks,
17:25and food items
17:26that are given to people,
17:28there is no distinction of the poor.
17:30The householders themselves
17:31also eat and drink.
17:32They also feed them.
17:33Sometimes, they also send their relatives.
17:35Sometimes, they also send their neighbors.
17:36So, be it the poor or the rich,
17:38all kinds of people eat,
17:40drink,
17:41or drink.
17:42Because, this is a means of reward.
17:44So, this too,
17:45in reality,
17:47there is no worship
17:49that is not wajib-le-ain.
17:51Therefore,
17:52this is not a Shari'ah recitation.
17:54I am not saying
17:55that accepting this recitation is a sin.
17:57It is not a sin.
17:58That is,
17:59if you accept the recitation of the Holy Quran,
18:01then accepting the recitation of the Holy Quran
18:03is not a sin.
18:04It is permissible.
18:06But,
18:07is it necessary to fulfill this Shari'ah or not?
18:09So, it is not necessary to fulfill it.
18:11Because, it is necessary to fulfill the Shari'ah
18:13to the extent that
18:14the worship of which
18:15is actually
18:16wajib-le-ain.
18:19So, here,
18:20because wajib-le-ain
18:21is not actually present
18:22in its original form,
18:24therefore,
18:25it is not necessary to fulfill it.
18:27If no one does it,
18:28then it will not be permissible.
18:29But,
18:30if you can't fulfill it,
18:31then fulfill it.
18:32It is a good thing.
18:33It is a good deed.
18:34To recite the Holy Quran
18:35is a good deed.
18:36To recite the Holy Quran
18:37is a good deed.
18:38To feed the Muslims
18:39is a good deed.
18:40To make the Muslims
18:41drink alcohol
18:42is a good deed.
18:43It is permissible.
18:44So,
18:45if you are doing
18:46a good deed
18:47and there is nothing
18:48other than Shari'ah
18:49present in it,
18:50then there is no harm in it.
18:51You should do it.
18:52It is a good thing.
18:53But,
18:54is it necessary to fulfill it or not?
18:55We are talking about this.
18:56So,
18:57it is not necessary.
18:58If no one does it,
18:59then it will not be permissible.
19:00This is not called
19:01Shari'ah.
19:02Shari'ah is the one
19:03in which
19:04the conditions are found
19:05and it is included
19:06in the conditions
19:07that
19:08it should have
19:09a duty
19:10or it should be
19:11obligatory
19:12and it should be
19:13intended.
19:14The worship should be
19:15intended
19:16and it should be
19:17obligatory.
19:18It should not be
19:19unlawful.
19:20And,
19:21it should not be
19:22a sin.
19:23This is also a condition
19:24for the Shari'ah.
19:25Similarly,
19:26the Shari'ah should be
19:27obligatory on you
19:28from the beginning.
19:29For example,
19:30if someone
19:31does this,
19:32I will offer
19:33Zuhr prayer.
19:34So,
19:35Zuhr prayer
19:36is obligatory
19:37on you.
19:38So,
19:39this Shari'ah
19:40will not be Shari'ah.
19:41Whether or not
19:42you follow the Shari'ah,
19:43you have to follow it.
19:44So,
19:45the Shari'ah
19:46should be
19:47in your favor
19:48as it is.
19:49It should not be
19:50obligatory
19:51at that time.
19:52It should be
19:53Nafl.
19:54But,
19:55Nafl Ibadah
19:56which you consider
19:57to be
19:58a good deed,
19:59it will be
20:00a commandment.
20:01This thing
20:02which is
20:03obligatory on you
20:04at that time,
20:05you cannot
20:06consider it
20:07to be
20:08obligatory.
20:09So,
20:10we will consider
20:11Nafl Namaz
20:12to be
20:13obligatory
20:14on the Jinn.
20:15Namaz,
20:16five Namaz
20:17are obligatory.
20:18Similarly,
20:19we will consider
20:20Nafl fasting
20:21to be
20:22obligatory
20:23on the Jinn.
20:24Similarly,
20:25we will consider
20:26Sadaqah
20:27to be
20:28obligatory
20:29on the Jinn.

20:31we will consider
20:32sacrifice
20:33to be
20:34obligatory
20:35on the Jinn.
20:36Similarly,
20:37we will consider
20:38sacrifice
20:39to be
20:40obligatory
