00:00The Mets making a resurgence here.
00:04We call them the Grimace Mets since they unveiled Grimace 25 and 11 since June the 12th, similar
00:10to what we talked about with the Yankees, like what's going wrong with them?
00:12What's actually going right for the Mets?
00:14How are they finding their footing now?
00:16They score and runs.
00:17They score runs on a consistent basis, guys.
00:20You just saw that graphic you guys put up a few minutes ago.
00:23You score five and a half to six runs a game.
00:26You're going to be in a whole lot of baseball games.
00:28And I think the Mets have their flaws, you know, I think their rotation has kind of been,
00:33you know, patchwork all year and they figured out ways to make it work.
00:38I think their bullpen has some serious issues.
00:41Edwin Diaz has not found the form that he had two years ago when he was the best closer
00:46in all baseball.
00:47But listen, I think the Mets easily walked the part of a team that's playoff worthy.
00:54Now this stuff changes in baseball.
00:56You're going to ride the roller coaster a ton over the next few weeks and the Mets have
01:00a big series starting tonight against the Atlanta Braves as far as that National League
01:04wildcard race is concerned.
01:07But I think they walked the part of a playoff team.
01:09I really do.
01:10I think I've seen enough now from the Mets who had that biggest number of what, 81 and
01:14a half, 80 and a half, give or take at the beginning of the year.
01:18I think they're going to go over that.
01:19I think they're going to have a winning record.
01:21And guys, when it's all said and done, I think they find their way in the playoffs.
01:24I do.
