00:00Let's talk about the situation in Malabon. We have on the spot, Ian Cruz. Ian.
00:07Yes, Raffy. At the moment, the rain is falling again in the center of Malabon, where a large part of the city of Malabon is still flooded.
00:19Today, when we went around the area of their market, their family business, the area around the city hall, the church, and the whole town area,
00:32they call it here, the flood is still high. There are areas, Raffy, where small vehicles cannot pass because the water is still high.
00:42Some of them are reaching their income. We have seen many people walking, some are going to the market to get supplies for their family.
00:52We have seen others, between Longos and Barangay Tonsuya, the water level is high, especially in the area called Pinagsabugan.
01:04Earlier, we talked to someone who is walking in the area of Tonsuya, where a woman, Raffy, is carrying her bag to her head so it won't get wet.
01:15She's from Cebu and she needs to walk in the flood because she needs to go home to her family.
01:22In other areas, in Barangay Miudan, the residents we are asking about have areas up to the mouth.
01:31In Barangay San Agustin, Raffy, this is the barangay that is near the city hall of Malabon, the water level is still high on their road.
01:43While in Mandang Conception area of Malabon, there are areas up to the mouth, but there are areas where the water level is low on the road.
01:55Of course, it's a different story in Looban because the houses there are lower and the water level is deeper in those areas.
02:06But we have seen that the residents here in Malabon are forced to walk.
02:13Most of them are going out to get supplies. Raffy, since yesterday, they have been forced to eat and drink in their homes.
02:26That's why they are now postponing the rain and the stoppage of the rain so they can get supplies.
02:35Raffy, as of now, some of our countrymen are still hoping for help. Some of them are in evacuation centers.
02:44Some of them haven't arrived yet. But we will be back with other updates from the city of Malabon, Raffy.
02:56Thank you very much Ian Cruz.
