00:00For me, it's Eric Van Roy in EVR because not only can he make a lot of birdies, Keith,
00:11we also have, you know, we have the sentimental side of this as well with him going back to
00:16Minnesota for the first time.
00:18And that factors into he wants to win this bad.
00:22Let's just start with the fact before we get into the, you know, he went to the University
00:25of Minnesota, which is the campus is 20 miles from this golf course.
00:28But when you start to talk about those birdie fests, which I just defined a second ago in
00:33his last six shootouts, he won in November.
00:37And then past that, he's gone 25th at the Amex and then 8th, 2nd, 4th Myrtle Beach 6th.
00:43I mean, this guy, he can score when the golf course is easy, he can score, he can fill
00:48up the cup.
00:49And that's what makes in my mind him a major player this week.
00:52Now, his results here have been mediocre over the years, but I think he's a much better
00:58player now.
00:59And I think he's really figuring out where he can attack golf courses and he's just playing
01:03much better overall.
01:04And you know, for me, here's another guy too.
01:07He sits 18th on the President's Cup list.
01:10There's a lot of lists that are coming out right now.
01:12It's the President's Cup team on the international side for him.
01:15It is the FedEx Cup who's in the top 70 for the playoffs, who's in the top 125 for the
01:19fall.
01:20You know, EVR is in position for all of these things.
01:23He needs to play very well.
01:25And when he's been on easy golf courses this year, he's been absolutely fantastic.
01:30So I love him coming back to a place that's kind of a second home from him other than
01:35South Africa.
01:37This week for him, he's definitely one of my outrights.
01:40And you know, at plus 4,000, a pretty good value.
01:44Pretty good value indeed.
01:45I will be in the mix with him along with you this week.
01:48That's for sure.
01:49I'm surprised he's 18th on that list.
01:51And listen, you're talking the entire world except outside of Europe.
01:54I understand that.
01:56But because he's done so well in all these types of tournaments like you mentioned, you'd
02:00think he'd be a little bit higher on the list.
02:02But those tournaments probably don't get as many points, right, Keith, as some of the
02:05bigger tournaments.
02:06And that's why he doesn't have that as high on the list.
02:10It's the same thing with the FedEx Cup points list.
02:12You know, when you go to these regular events, you're getting roughly half of what these
02:16guys are getting in the signature events.
02:18So truly the rich get richer, you know.
02:20The funniest story is Nick Dunlop.
02:22This poor guy.
02:23I mean, he just made it inside the top 70 because when he was an amateur, he didn't
02:27win any FedEx Cup points for that first win.
02:29He should be in the top 50 and in signature events again next year.
02:32But you know what?
02:33He's won twice now and he's inside there.
02:35And probably another guy to keep an eye on because he makes a ton of birdies on Easy
02:38Golf Courses too.
