Innovative ‘alpaca yoga sessions’ being hosted at Yorkshire farm prove popular with visitors

Many people have been trying out a new yoga concept where yogis are surrounded by alpacas.

Yoga instructor and photographer, Rebecca Marwood, began hosting classes at Alpaca Alpaca Farm in Yarm when Covid restrictions eased.

The farm has more than 40 alpacas and they have been described as 'intuitive' and 'calm' animals.

The sessions take place four times a year during the summer months of May, June, July and August.

They welcome people from all abilities and backgrounds including those with physical and mental health conditions.

Ms Marwood has been named one of Eventbrite's most innovative yogis for helping expand diversity in the practice.
