00:00Just start there with just, you know, the massive, I don't know, shift is the right word,
00:05but just the process of validation we've seen from Xander in the past few months on tour.
00:13Well, I mean, what an open championship to start. I think that's where I gotta be
00:20starting this. This discussion is, man, we experienced just every bit of weather. You
00:27know, we had heavy winds, we had rain, we had, you know, a Sunday in which it was just a bunch
00:36of weeder board, a golf course that was very difficult. The back night was just one of the
00:41most challenging nine holes of golf that I can remember. And Xander Chafle, like we talked about
00:48all week in our journals, just kind of hanging around. Him and Scotty were just lurking in the
00:54dark. So I think we both felt like one of those two guys were going to go do something on Sunday.
01:02And the weather was a big question mark heading into the day yesterday, not knowing exactly what
01:10we were going to get. Because Sunday when I got out there, it was humming. And if you, you know,
01:17just asking around with some of the other commentators, hey, what do you think the
01:21number is going to be today? And we all said probably three or four under. We felt like that
01:28with how firm and how windy the golf course was in the morning, we didn't see a world in which
01:34it was getting to. So let's see. Xander Chafle ended up in nine under par. Yeah. So I think just
01:44it's really challenging and difficult for players going into this Open Championship in particular
01:50to try to figure out what a good score was, how the golf course was playing and what the winning
01:57score and that end number was going to be. So. Xander, I think, did such an incredible job
02:06in the entire week and knowing what a good score was that day. So Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
02:14I feel like leaving the golf course, he had a sense of, hey, this this was this was really good
02:21each and every day. The first day, you know, first two days played with Tiger Woods, played
02:25with Patrick Canlay, which is a very comfortable pairing. But still, you're playing with Tiger
02:29Woods. I feel like that's always been a kiss of death. People that get paired with Tigers got
02:33to deal with the Tiger crowd and seemingly didn't bother Xander Chafle as he kept himself in
02:39contention, Canlay playing well the first couple of days.
