00:07This is former law minister Zayed Ibrahim's message to PAS, adding that

00:11credible and substantive policy narratives could help the Islamic

00:14party win broader support.

00:17He said currently, PAS seems uninterested in getting non-Muslim

00:20support on contemporary issues, adding that the party still creates fear

00:24about its approach to governance.

00:27Zayed suggested that PAS should form an alliance with a

00:30non-Malay party like MCA.

00:33He said all Malaysians will follow a credible and sincere Malay grouping

00:36that takes concerted efforts to dismantle all forms of discrimination.

00:41He added that PAS must change its profile and behavior by respecting

00:45non-Malay rights and customs, as well as abandoning its obsession with

00:49banning everything it disapproves of.

00:51He also said PAS should promote true Islamic justice by ending preferential

00:55treatment for certain segments of society.
