00:00Mr. Speaker, what does Kamala Harris on the top of the ticket if she gets the nomination
00:05do for this race?
00:06Well, I don't think it changes the dynamics at all.
00:09I mean, she is obviously the co-owner of the policies of the Biden administration, and
00:15she was the border czar, which is the biggest problem in the country that everybody knows.
00:19She's had her hands on a lot of the policy failures that have gotten us in the mess that
00:22we're in.
00:23So we're excited about November and the Republican Party.
00:25We're excited about our ticket with the Trump-Vance ticket, and we look forward to putting on
00:29that case.
00:30What specific law are the Democrats breaking, are you alleging, by including her if she
00:35is the nominee at the top of the ticket?
00:37You said you may sue her in all 50 states.
00:39What are you alleging that they're breaking?
00:41I never said I was going to sue her.
00:43I said that we have 50 different systems in each of the states when it comes to presidential
00:48elections and choosing electors and all the rest, and in some of the states there are
00:52impediments to just switching someone out like that.
00:55Remember that this claims to be the party of democracy, small d, democracy, right?
01:0014 million people went through the process and chose this nominee, Joe Biden.
01:04Now a handful of people have gotten together and decided he's no longer suitable.
01:08That's not how this system works.
01:09They are violating democratic principles, and I think that's a real problem, and I think
01:13there'll be a lot said about that in the days ahead.
01:15So you expect lawsuits, plenty of lawsuits?
01:17Well, look, if it violates the rules in some of these states, I expect that there will
01:20be litigation over that.
01:22So we'll see how it develops.
01:23We're doing our job here in Washington.
01:24The states will be handling that, but I do think it's problematic.
01:27I think millions of the American people believe that this is problematic.
01:31This is not the way this system is supposed to work.
01:33There's a reason it's unprecedented.
01:35You don't just steamroll the rules in the process because you decide that your candidate
01:39is no longer suitable.
01:40That's what's happened here.
01:41I think everybody can see it for themselves, and we'll see how the campaign unfurls.
01:45Will she be tougher to beat?
01:46Will she be tougher to beat?
01:47Will she be tougher to beat?
01:50She will not be tougher to beat.
01:51No, not at all.
01:52I'm excited about Kamala being at the top of the ticket, and I have suggested that the
01:56president should resign.
01:57The reason is, if everyone acknowledges that he is incapable of running a campaign, then
02:03he's clearly incapable of running the country.
02:05I mean, he has the nuclear codes.
02:07He has major decisions that he has to make every single hour of every day, and he does
02:11not have the faculties to do so now.
02:13Everyone acknowledges that, including the Democrat Party.
02:16I think that should weigh the decision on whether he should continue to serve.
02:19We are suggesting and calling upon him to resign and do the right thing for the country.
02:23We live in dangerous times.
02:24Our adversaries see all this as well.
02:26We're keeping steady hands at the wheel, and I'll look into every camera and tell our adversaries,
02:30regardless of the drama surrounding Joe Biden, this country is ready to act and to defend
02:35our interests.
02:36The Congress is resolute on that, and the U.S. military is ready at any time.
02:39Do not look at this as some sort of opportunity.
