The Seaforth restaurant at the Municipal Hotel has just launched a new menu so we headed down to see what it was like.

The beautiful luxury hotel and spa opened on Dale Street last year and I'd seen pictures so knew it was nice but you honestly can't appreciate just how stunning it is until you're inside. It's by far the fanciest place I've ever visited and as soon as I walked in I had high hopes for the food.

00:06The Luxury Hotel opened on Dale Street last year and I'd seen pictures so I knew it was nice but you honestly can't appreciate just how stunning it is until you're inside.
00:16It's by far the fanciest place I've ever been and as soon as I walked in I had really high hopes for the food.
00:22There are three places for food and drink, the Seaforth Restaurant, Palm Court Bar and Botanic Tea Room and there's a gorgeous bar area in the centre.
00:29Tucked away at the back is the Seaforth and it's honestly gorgeous with beautiful lights and plants and the nicest tables and chairs.
00:36The new seasonal menu features fresh pasta, steaks and scouse which is a must if you're in Liverpool and there's a large cocktail menu too.
00:44We ordered a Mersey Paradise and a Mistral and got some chips and burrata with peaches and pine nuts to start.
00:50All the food was presented beautifully, honestly I just can't explain how nice and fancy it was but the highlight for me was definitely the Tagliolini pasta with truffle and asparagus which you can ask to be made vegan as well.
01:04For dessert we both got poached strawberries which I honestly didn't think would be that nice but they were absolutely unreal.
01:12The whole experience felt incredibly luxurious and I can't think of a better place for a celebration meal or fancy drinks with friends.
