00:00A former professor at a public university and a contractor were sued in the Session Court of Juhu Baru

00:08for allegations of supporting and possessing material relating to the Islamic State rapists.

00:13The former professor, Abdungah Daud, 70 years old,

00:16denied the charges against four defendants read by the judge in court

00:21in front of Judge Fatimah Zahari, but no confession was recorded.

00:25For the first accusation, the defendants were accused of committing violence

00:30by planting the ideology of violence.

00:33Abdungah was also accused of allowing a meeting in his house in Kampung Melayu Kangkartebrau, Juhu Baru

00:39to support the activity of violence between September 3, 2023 and April 14, 2021, reported UTSA Malaysia.

00:47The former professor was also accused of having two title books,

00:52as well as two digital books and two videos in his mobile phone,

00:57which are materials related to the activities of the IS rapists and their group.

01:03In the same proceeding, the 48-year-old contractor, Muhammad Awam,

01:07was also accused of possessing items related to violence and IS in his mobile phone and computer.
