00:00One, wind gusts that acts in your favor and you kind of just have to say, hey, like this
00:07is going to balance out.
00:08I have to appreciate Lynx golf for what it is.
00:11You're going to get the good breaks.
00:12You're going to get the bad breaks and you can't let them affect your, your emotion.
00:16So I thought that was really cool.
00:19Another one was just talking about resilience and what it means to be resilient.
00:23I that Rory quote that you mentioned about him thinking about his vacation through 22
00:28goals or whatever it was that in particularly really, really stood out to me.
00:34And Dr. Mo talked about resilience and what people do when they lose their resilience.
00:40And he said something really interesting that when players lose their resilience, they kind
00:44of just start to slap the ball around.
00:45They don't pick good targets.
00:47They don't commit to their job.
00:49They kind of lose that preparation element because it protects their ego.
00:53And they're basically saying to themselves, I didn't put my full effort into this.
00:57So I'm not going to be that disappointed at the end of the day.
01:00And I can relate to that as a golfer, I felt that a million times where my round isn't
01:04going very well.
01:05And I'm like, oh, I'm just gonna, you know, stop taking practice swing, stop thinking
01:08about my club choice too much.
01:09This round won't matter anyway.
01:11But Dr. Mo said that, you know, resilient player, for one that even if they're going
01:17to miss the cut by however many shots, they're not going to let those bad habits form.
01:22They're going to keep committing to every single shot, continuing to grind it out, even
01:26if they're like about to shoot 80.
01:28It's every putt, every shot matters.
01:30And I think we really saw that with Max Homa draining that whatever 30 footer on the 18th
01:34hole to make the cut on the number, which was so cool to see and really validated some
01:39of that reporting that I did earlier in the week.
01:42And his reaction just said it all when you when you execute something and it feels good,
01:46no matter how poorly you're playing.
01:48It's the best thing that you can do for yourself as a player.
