00:18A few days before the 3rd State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.,

00:23our countrymen have their own requests.

00:26What do they want to be included in the President's agenda?

00:31I hope that the wages will increase for the employees.

00:35It's still not enough because here in the Philippines,

00:38our cost of living is increasing.

00:41I don't want rice or groceries to be given away.

00:46I want money to be given away so that we can buy what we need.

00:51Every SONA, the president of the middlemen of his administration

00:54is often surprised by their plans or new programs for the country.

01:01In a press conference, the Center for Women's Resources

01:05also shared the concerns of women in the SONA of the President

01:10based on a survey they conducted in Metro Manila.

01:14First, the creation of jobs and the livelihood of people.

01:20Second, high prices.

01:23The high prices of goods, not just goods,

01:28but also services and utilities.

01:33Actually, in our interviews,

01:38they always mention the price of rice.

01:41Recently, a separate survey of Pulse Asia Research

01:46found that there are 2,400 respondents from different parts of the country.

01:51The main topic of discussion among our countrymen

01:55is the control of inflation or the rapid rise in prices,

01:59wages, fighting poverty, increasing jobs,

02:03and a different approach to trust.

02:06If the young people in the camera are the ones to ask,

02:10they are also looking forward to President Marcos' journey.

02:14According to House Speaker Martin Lumualdez,

02:17from the SONA to the 2025 National Budget,

02:20their support for the administration is complete.

02:24Mr. President, we shall continue supporting

02:28your visionary projects that continue to help every Filipino.

02:34We are very, very proud to be working under your leadership.

02:38I assure you, in the upcoming budget,

02:40all of these programs and projects of yours

02:42will be fully supported by your House of Representatives.

02:45After the SONA, the situation here in Batasang Pambansa

02:48is expected to return to normal.
