00:00The penultimate stage of the Tour de France is the shortest of all the race
00:03132.8 kilometers but with a grueling 4,600 meters of elevation starting in
00:09Nice and heading for the Col de la Couilly. The stage starts and the riders begin
00:13almost immediately climbing to a second categorized climb the Col de Braus a 10
00:17kilometer climb averaging 6.6 percent. After the descent they begin the Col de
00:22Turini the longest climb of the day at 20.7 kilometers. One final intermediate
00:27sprint point at Saint-Martin-Versouby leads the riders on to the Col de
00:31Clermont. The final climb to the finish is 15.7 kilometers and we could see
00:35riders try to attempt to claw back time in the general classification here. With
00:40fatigue and tired legs it's a demanding stage. If the breakaway goes and reaches
00:44the finish we can expect to see king of the mountains leader Richard Carapaz
00:47here as well as maybe Simon Yates but Taddeo Pogacar has shown he's superior
00:51and Jonas Vingegaard will hopefully want to recover after yesterday and
00:54challenge for victory.
