Transcript
00:00A person, Hazm bin Abi Ka'b, came to the Messenger of Allah and said,
00:09O Messenger of Allah, such and such person, Ma'az bin Jabal,
00:13leads a long prayer.
00:15Therefore, he cannot participate in the prayer of the mothers of the congregation,
00:19because I am tired and exhausted at night because of the camping of camels all day,
00:25and I do not have the strength to listen to the recitation of the Quran for a long time.
00:29Abu Mas'ud narrates,
00:31I have never seen the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
00:36so enraged during a sermon.
00:39The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
00:42O people, you have become so violent that you have made people hate religion.
00:49Listen, whoever leads the prayer of the people,
00:53then he should lead a light prayer,
00:55because there are all kinds of people in them who are sick, weak and in need.
