00:00I think parents can support their child's language development by really listening to
00:08their children.
00:09What I learned becoming a parent is kids don't necessarily lie.
00:13If they're angry, they'll express that they're angry.
00:16If children are sad, they show you right away because our children are very honest with
00:20how they feel and what they want, and they are always communicating to us those things.
00:25So just being a listener, because listening is so underrated, like what Teacher Roseanne
00:30said a while ago, when your vocabulary is wide, you are really able to articulate and
00:35express how you feel, and it's important for children to be heard.
