00:00Hazrat Umar says that I and my Ansari neighbour used to live in a village called Bani Umayya bin Zaid in Madinah, which is one of the highest villages in the east of Madinah.
00:17Both of us used to come to the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regularly.
00:23One day he would come, one day I would come.
00:27The day I would come, I would inform him about the revelation of that day and the message of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
00:37And when he would come, he would do the same.
00:41So one day he and my Ansari companion would come to the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regularly.
00:46When he came back, he knocked on my door very loudly and asked about me.
00:53Is Umar here?
00:55I got scared and came to him.
00:57He said that a big matter has happened.
01:01That is, the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has divorced his wives.
01:07Then I went to my daughter Hafsa.
01:10She was crying.
01:13I asked her, has the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, divorced you?
01:18She said, I do not know.
01:20Then I came to the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
01:23I stood up and said, has the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, divorced his wives?
01:28The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, no, these are false rumors.
01:33Then I said with surprise, Allah is great, Allah is very great.
