J.D. Vance has accepted the Republican Party's nomination to serve as Donald Trump's running mate for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

00:05And so tonight, Mr. Chairman, I stand here humbled and I'm overwhelmed with gratitude

00:20In a speech at the Republican National Convention in Wisconsin, Vance echoed Donald Trump's
00:25America first rhetoric on economic and foreign policy.
00:29He criticized trade deals with China and Mexico and said U.S. allies cannot rely on
00:34American generosity for protection.
00:36The 39-year-old senator from Ohio also spoke about his working class roots and climbed
