00:00Driving through Rome earlier in New York was a quite a challenge this evening as severe thunderstorms brought drenching rain and hail.
00:07Tricky travel in the Northeast.
00:09Yep, that continues not just tonight, but into tomorrow as well.
00:14Here's the currents and we're not looking at delays as we check out the western tier states, but still looking at major delays out of LaGuardia.
00:20Had a big thunderstorm roll through Charlotte's Douglas International Airport earlier on, still a ground stop there and minor delays toward Miami.
00:29Speaking of the airlines, here's the AccuWeather U.S. flight cancellation forecast.
00:33The highest numbers here into Wednesday, and that's where we'll see severe weather throughout the Northeast, stretching right along Interstate 95.
00:40These numbers will be coming down as we head our way toward the upcoming weekend, substantially dropping as we head our way into Sunday.
00:47Yeah, that calmer and cooler air mass is going to be arriving into the Northeast.
00:52But let's take a look at the big picture here quickly as we head our way into Wednesday.
00:56Delays around New York, especially late in the day, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver.
01:00Also looking at some minor travel delays, all tied to showers, downpours and some thunderstorms that will reduce visibility and cause ponding.
