That sounds like a fun and entertaining list! Here’s a draft of the introduction and some potential entries for your video on the funniest MCU scenes:

---

### Introduction
Get ready for a healthy dose of Thor, Tony Stark, Drax, and Spider-Man. For this list, we’ll be going over the Marvel Cinematic Universe scenes that make us laugh the hardest. Our countdown includes “Thor: Ragnarok,” "The Avengers," "Ant-Man," “Guardians of the Galaxy,” "Avengers: Infinity War," and more! If there’s a hysterical MCU moment whose absence from our list you are unamused by, please tell us your favorite in the comments!

### Countdown

**#10: Thor and Hulk’s Arena Fight – “Thor: Ragnarok” (2017)**
When Thor is thrown into the gladiatorial arena on Sakaar, he’s thrilled to see that his opponent is none other than the Hulk. His enthusiastic “We know each other! He’s a friend from work!” line is hilariously undercut by Hulk’s immediate and brutal attack, resulting in a comedic and memorable battle between the two Avengers.

**#9: “I Am Groot” – “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” (2017)**
Baby Groot’s attempt to retrieve Yondu’s prototype fin from the Ravagers' room is a comedic highlight. Groot’s repeated misunderstandings of what to bring back, including a desk, a severed toe, and a man’s underwear, lead to a series of increasingly absurd and funny moments, showcasing the character’s innocent yet mischievous nature.

**#8: Spider-Man’s Awkward Moments – “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (2017)**
Peter Parker’s teenage awkwardness is on full display in “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” particularly in the scene where he tries to interrogate Aaron Davis. Peter’s attempts to sound intimidating with a deep voice, combined with his inexperience and technical difficulties, make for a hilariously cringe-worthy encounter.

**#7: Drax’s Invisibility – “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018)**
Drax’s claim that he has mastered the art of standing so still that he becomes invisible is one of the funniest moments in "Avengers: Infinity War." As he slowly eats a Zargnut, convinced that no one can see him, Mantis’ blunt “Hi, Drax” reveals his delusion, leaving both the characters and the audience in stitches.

**#6: Captain America’s “Language” – “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (2015)**
The opening battle scene in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” kicks off with Tony Stark’s profanity, to which Captain America immediately responds with “Language!” This moment becomes a running gag throughout the film, with the other Avengers poking fun at Cap’s old-fashioned sensibilities, adding a humorous touch to the action-packed sequences.

**#5: Luis’ Storytelling – “Ant-Man” (2015)**
Luis’ rapid-fire, highly detailed, and often tangential storytelling style is a comedic standout in "Ant-Man." His narrated flashbacks, complete with the actors lip-syncing to his voice, are both clever and hilarious, providing some of the film’s most memorable and funny moments.

**#4: Thor Meets the Guardians – “Avengers: Infinity War”

00:00Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we'll be counting down our picks for the Top 20 Hilarious MCU Moments.
00:12Loki, Loki's alive. Can you believe it? He's up there. Loki, look who it is!
00:25What master do you serve? What master do I serve? What am I supposed to say, Jesus?
00:29For this list, we'll be going over the Marvel Cinematic Universe scenes that make us laugh the hardest.
00:35If there's a hysterical MCU moment whose absence from our list you are unamused by, please tell us your favorite in the comments.
00:48Thor's arrival on the planet Sakaar doesn't begin very auspiciously.
00:52He's captured almost immediately and forced to become a gladiator in an arena where the guy made of rocks is considered pretty average.
01:09His brother Loki has also schemed his way into the good graces of the local Grand Master.
01:14Things look even more grim as the reigning champion is hyped up for the crowd.
01:23But as it turns out, the champion is the Hulk.
01:27As hilarious as Loki's immediate desire to be anywhere else is, Thor's happiness is even funnier.
01:41His reference to Hulk being a friend from work is also the funniest possible way to describe their relationship.
01:53Thor loves coffee. Needs a horse. Thor.
01:58The Marvel Cinematic Universe has constantly utilized the fish-out-of-water trope to great effect, with Thor often at the center of it.
02:06He is from a different realm, after all.
02:08One of his funniest moments came during his first visit to Earth.
02:12In need of sustenance, Thor hits up a diner, and it's there his otherworldliness begins to emerge.
02:19After draining a cup of coffee, he slams it on the floor and demands another, before marching into a pet shop and requesting a horse for transportation.
02:31It's the fact that he is saying these things with 100% sincerity, not to mention a boatload of arrogance, that makes these moments so freaking hilarious.
02:41It was delicious, I want another.
02:43Well, you could have just said so.
02:44I just did.
02:45No, I mean, ask nicely.
02:50Do you truly think so little of me?
02:54Loki, I thought the world of you.
02:56Thor Ragnarok was one seriously funny flick, and much of the humor came from the interplay between adoptive brothers Thor and Loki.
03:04In the third act, the duo find themselves in an elevator together.
03:07Knowing that when the doors open, they will be confronted by heavily armed guards, Thor suggests that they do get help.
03:14Hey, let's do get help.
03:16What?
03:17Get help.
03:18No.
03:19Come on, you'll love it.
03:20I hate it.
03:21It's great, it works every time.
03:22It's humiliating.
03:23Do you have a better plan?
03:24No.
03:25We're doing it.
03:26Loki immediately shoots down the idea, mostly because it involves him pretending to be hurt, so that Thor can launch him towards a slew of unsuspecting guards.
03:33We are not doing get help.
03:36Get help!
03:37Please!
03:38My brother, he's dying!
03:39And while it's definitely humiliating, it is incredibly effective, not to mention funny.
03:45Classic.
03:46Still hate it.
03:47Number 17.
03:48Playing Galaga, The Avengers
03:51One of the first meetings between the original Avengers sees the group around a table aboard S.H.I.E.L.D.'s helicarrier.
03:57When Tony Stark arrives, he naturally begins talking a mile a minute and drawing attention.
04:02Also, it means the portal can open as wide and stay open as long as Loki wants.
04:07Uh, raise the missile mast.
04:09Ship's up, sir.
04:10When he begins messing with the ship's controls, he starts rambling a bit, including calling a technician out for secretly playing the arcade game Galaga.
04:19Batman is playing Galaga.
04:21Thought we wouldn't notice, but we did.
04:24It seems like a random bit of dialogue from Tony and a fun reference for people who get it.
04:28I understood that reference.
04:31But at the end of the scene, when Tony leaves, cut to a random S.H.I.E.L.D. tech who indeed begins playing Galaga.
04:42Number 16.
04:43Tony miscalculates his thrusters.
04:45Iron Man
04:46Okay, let's do this right.
04:49The film that set the standard for all future Marvel flicks, Iron Man remains one of the franchise's funniest entries.
04:56And with no shortage of great scenes to choose from, we were hard-pressed to pick just one.
05:01So we went with two.
05:03The first is when Tony is trying out his thrusters for the first time.
05:13Underestimating their power, he asks for 10% thrust capacity and is promptly propelled backward and into the ceiling, only to be doused by one of his robot assistants with a fire extinguisher.
05:27In the second, we see Tony trying out his thrusters again, only this time, he offers up some choice words for his robotic pal.
05:39Number 15.
05:40Peter's best friend finds out he's Spider-Man.
05:43Spider-Man Homecoming
05:49Fans waited a long time for Spidey to join the MCU.
05:53And when his feature-length Homecoming arrived, it delivered in terms of quality and quality jokes.
05:59One of the best moments was when Ned finds out that the masked vigilante known as Spider-Man is none other than his high school buddy.
06:07The look on Ned's face when he realizes who Peter has been moonlighting as is priceless.
06:13It's almost as good as the reaction Aunt May had when she discovered the same thing, though with slightly less cursing.
06:27Side note, did anyone else wince when Ned dropped that immaculately assembled Death Star?
06:32Where were the quick reflexes and Spidey-sense when the Empire needed him, Parker?
06:41Number 14.
06:42Snake Story
06:43Thor Ragnarok
06:45Eager to get off of Sakaar to save Asgard from his sister Hela, Thor and Bruce Banner ally with Valkyrie to get revenge as the Revengers.
07:08Valkyrie sweetens their alliance by revealing that she's captured Loki.
07:11However, the newly formed team hits a snag.
07:14In order to get a ship strong enough to survive the wormhole back, they might have to trust Loki, who has tried to kill them all.
07:29As evidence, Thor relates an anecdote from their childhood wherein Loki turned into a snake which Thor picked up.
07:35Loki then shapeshifted back into himself and stabbed his brother.
07:42He transformed himself into a snake and he knows that I love snakes, so I went to pick up the snake to admire it.
07:46And he transformed back into himself and he was like, yeah, it's me, and he stabbed me.
07:50Chris Hemsworth's delivery is hilarious.
07:53We could watch him say, bleh, it's me, on loop, as are Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston's reactions.
07:59Number 13.
08:00America's Ass
08:02Avengers Endgame
08:03The time travel in Avengers Endgame offers a huge number of opportunities for comedy.
08:08One of the biggest laughs in the movie is the result of a trip back to the aftermath of the first Avengers film.
08:14While observing their past selves, Tony Stark comments on Steve Rogers' outfit, declaring that it makes his backside look ridiculous.
08:22That suit did nothing for your ass.
08:25No one asked you to look, Tony.
08:26It's ridiculous.
08:27Ant-Man defends Steve's posterior, saying that he considers it America's ass, and even saluting.
08:33I think you look great, Cap.
08:35As far as I'm concerned, that's America's ass.
08:38This alone is outrageously funny.
08:41But the gag gets even better when, after defeating his past self in a fight, Cap checks out his own butt and agrees that it's worthy of being America's ass.
08:50That is America's ass.
08:52It certainly makes us laugh our asses off.
08:56Number 12.
08:57Adopted
08:58The Avengers
08:59Yeah, we're not done with that roundtable scene.
09:01It's got so much gold.
09:03The Avengers discuss Loki's plan to bring an army of Chitauri to Earth.
09:08Bruce Banner claims they shouldn't worry too much about Loki himself, since he's clearly crazy.
09:13I've care how you speak.
09:15Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard.
09:18And he is my brother.
09:19Although Thor starts to defend his brother, Black Widow cites Loki's mass murder spree.
09:24He killed 80 people in two days.
09:27Prompting Thor to swiftly backpedal and mutter weakly that Loki is adopted.
09:32He's adopted.
09:34The contrast between Thor's previously grand manner of speaking with this down-to-earth response is fantastic.
09:41It practically encapsulates what makes him such a funny character in general.
09:46Number 11.
09:47Drax's special skill, Avengers Infinity War
09:51All of the Guardians of the Galaxy are hysterical in their own way.
09:55But Drax is something special.
09:57When Quill and Gamora have a romantic moment, it's interrupted by an unexpected crunch.
10:14We then pull back to see Drax standing there eating nuts.
10:18When they ask how long he's been there, Drax claims to have been there for an hour.
10:22Furthermore, he asserts he's able to stand so still that he becomes invisible.
10:43His demonstration is less than convincing, but still funny.
10:47Mantis saying hi to him may burst Drax's bubble, but it makes us burst out laughing.
10:54Clearly, they all broke his concentration.
10:57Number 10.
10:58Luis's long story, Ant-Man
11:06Luis, Scott Lang's motor-mouthed criminal ally, was a straight-up scene-stealer in 2015's Ant-Man.
11:13And while he gave us plenty to choose from, it's this scene in which he tells a long-winded story which makes us laugh the most.
11:20The scene works because of two things.
11:22Luis's rapid-fire storytelling ability and the fact that he dubs all of the characters that appear on screen.
11:36As it unfolds, one can't help but laugh.
11:39Particularly the moment when Luis speaks for the big man himself, Stan Lee.
11:43Be honest, did you ever think you'd see the comic book legend mouth the words,
11:47Crazy Stupid Fine?
11:49Yeah, we didn't think so.
11:53Number 9.
11:54Meeting Korg, Thor Ragnarok
11:56What kind of list would this be if we didn't include multiple scenes from Thor Ragnarok?
12:01Korg, the self-described pile of rocks that Thor meets when imprisoned by the Grandmaster,
12:06is perhaps the greatest side character in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
12:11To date, that is.
12:17The film's New Zealand director, Taika Waititi, voices Korg.
12:20And he brings exactly the same kind of wit to the character that he became known for in his previous work.
12:31Korg is laid-back, totally deadpan, and incredibly lovable.
12:35All of which is on display during his first meeting with the God of Thunder.
12:39That rock-paper-scissors joke? Priceless.
12:43You don't need to be afraid unless you're made of scissors.
12:46Just a little rock-paper-scissors joke for you.
12:48Number 8.
12:49Drax doesn't get metaphors.
12:51Guardians of the Galaxy
12:53Yeah, I'll have to agree with the walking thesaurus on that one.
12:56Do not ever call me a thesaurus.
12:59Guardians of the Galaxy broke the mold in many ways.
13:03It proved that superhero films could be silly, and that comedy doesn't always have to take a backseat to action.
13:09Leading the way was Drax, who Rocket describes as being completely literal.
13:14This means that any metaphors thrown his way will inevitably go over his head.
13:19Of course, if you tell him that, he'll quickly remind you that nothing goes over his head.
13:24His people are completely literal. Metaphors are gonna go over his head.
13:27If nothing goes over my head, my reflexes are too fast. I wouldn't catch it.
13:32Drax only gets funnier in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
13:36Particularly the scene in which he starkly rebuffs Mantis' advances.
13:40What are you doing?
13:41I'm imagining being with you physically.
13:45Drax, that's not... I don't like you like that.
13:48Number 7.
13:49Shakespeare in the Park
13:50The Avengers
13:51Thor meets the other Avengers in dramatic fashion by stealing his brother away from them.
13:56Thor's attempts to reach his brother are hilariously interrupted just as he instructs his brother to listen to him.
14:05I'm listening.
14:06Iron Man knocks Thor into the forest.
14:08When Thor tries to tell Tony he has no idea what he's dealing with,
14:12Mr. Stark responds by sarcastically comparing Thor to a production of Shakespeare in the Park.
14:18Uh, Shakespeare in the Park?
14:22He also compares Thor's cape to his mother's drapes in a thoroughly Shakespearean way.
14:27The short sequence is as funny as it is action-packed.
14:31Okay.
14:33Also, if Thor wanted to get Tony back, he could have compared Tony's suit to wearing his father's sports car.
14:39If Thor knows what a sports car is.
14:42Number 6.
14:43Falling for 30 Minutes
14:45Thor Ragnarok
14:46When Thor and Loki go looking for Odin on Earth,
14:49the brothers are interrupted by Doctor Strange,
14:52who separates the pair by making Loki fall through a portal.
14:56What's this? What are you doing?
14:57This isn't me.
15:02Loki.
15:03Loki.
15:12Strange has an amicable and often funny chat with Thor,
15:16in which he agrees to locate Odin if he and Loki leave after they find their father.
15:21We're looking for my father.
15:23So if I were to tell you where Odin was,
15:26all parties concerned would promptly return to Asgard?
15:29Promptly.
15:30Great.
15:31Then I'll help you.
15:32By the end, the audience has almost forgotten Loki,
15:35at least until Doctor Strange opens a portal and Loki collapses on the ground,
15:39declaring that he's been falling for 30 minutes.
15:44I suppose I'll leave my brother back.
15:46Oh, yeah, right.
15:53I have been falling for 30 minutes!
15:57Tom Hiddleston's exasperated delivery is gold.
16:01Also, would anyone else watch Loki falling for half an hour?
16:15Captain America Civil War won't go down as one of the funnier entries in the MCU,
16:19but that doesn't mean that this superhero thriller is completely devoid of humor.
16:24In fact, the banter between Spider-Man and the rest of the superheroes
16:28during the iconic airport fight is straight-up hilarious.
16:32Those wings carbon fiber?
16:33Is this stuff coming out of you?
16:35That would explain the rigidity-flexibility ratio, which, gotta say, that's awesome.
16:38Of course, the best part comes when he asks Falcon how his wings work,
16:42to which he replies,
16:43there's usually not this much talking.
16:46Hey, you can't exactly fault the guy.
16:48It was his first big-time battle.
16:50I don't know if you've been in a fight before,
16:51but there's usually not this much talking.
16:53All right, sorry, my bad.
16:58Avengers Infinity War
17:00Infinity War leads to the different parts of the MCU
17:03coming together in new and often funny ways.
17:06Maybe the funniest such scene is when the Guardians of the Galaxy
17:10encounter Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange
17:13aboard one of Thanos' ships.
17:19Although the whole scene is full of great lines,
17:22such as the Avengers realizing Star-Lord is from Earth,
17:25the best moment happens because of a question from Quill.
17:28Where is Gamora?
17:29Tony Stark replies by asking,
17:31Who is Gamora?
17:32And then, prompted by absolutely no one,
17:35Drax says,
17:36I'll do you one better.
17:38Why is Gamora?
17:39It's such a bizarre and hysterical line,
17:42and it never fails to make us laugh.
17:49The Guardians are threatened by the huge Sovereign Fleet
17:53while trying to save the galaxy from Ego.
17:55In a last-ditch effort,
17:57Nebula wires herself into the mining ship
17:59she, Yondu, and Peter Quill are aboard,
18:02launching laser blasts at all the ships around them.
18:14However, the ship explodes as a result.
18:17Thankfully, Quill has a jetpack on
18:19and Yondu has his psychic arrow,
18:21which lets him float down.
18:23And Nebula is a cyborg?
18:25Anyway, Quill comments that Yondu looks just like Mary Poppins.
18:33His father figure unknowingly asks if he, Poppins, is cool.
18:37Quill, not wanting to ruin the moment, replies that he is.
18:41Yondu's proud Papa moment declaring that he is Mary Poppins
18:45is both heartwarming and hilarious, y'all.
18:51Hell yeah, he's cool.
18:53I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!
19:00Whatever, man, it's a trick!
19:02Please, be my guest.
19:04We love this scene for so many reasons.
19:07For starters, the simple pleasure of watching the Avengers
19:10pallet up over a few beers will never get old.
19:13Second, the idea that this is what they do in their downtime
19:16is just too good.
19:18As the gang takes turns trying to lift Thor's hammer,
19:21viewers get to revel in the various members' ineptitude.
19:25With the exception of Captain America,
19:27who actually manages to make Mjolnir quiver.
19:30Come on, Cap.
19:40Nothing.
19:41The look on Thor's face is worth a thousand words
19:45and the look of relief that follows it when he realises
19:48Cap can't actually lift it is even better.
19:51We could watch this scene on a loop.
19:56Before we get to our top pick,
19:58here are a few honourable mentions.
20:04Drax's joy at Quill's embarrassment brings us joy.
20:15Squidward, Avengers Infinity War.
20:18Does that make Ebony Maw's buddy Spongebob or Mr. Krabs?
20:27Colonizer, Black Panther.
20:29As far as slang words for British people go,
20:32this one's not bad.
20:38Pepper walks in on Tony, Iron Man,
20:41if you know what he means.
20:45Yeah.
20:51Let's face it, this is not the worst thing you've caught me doing.

21:10Number 1.
21:11Puny God, The Avengers.
21:13Hulk is definitely more about the physical humour,
21:16as demonstrated when he treated Loki like a ragdoll
21:19in the third act of The Avengers.
21:21For the majority of the film,
21:22Loki tiptoed his way around trouble,
21:25using his various pawns to keep himself out of harm's way.
21:28Enough!
21:29You are all of you beneath me.
21:32I am a god, you dull creature.
21:34So when the Hulk interrupted Loki's monologue
21:37about his own greatness by clobbering him into the ground,
21:41it was both relieving and side-splitting.
21:51Someone should have reminded Loki
21:53that pride comes before the fall.
21:57Puny God.
21:59Hulk may be a creature of few words,
22:01but he sure knows how to pick them.
22:03At least Loki gets to appreciate it from the outside later on.
22:08That's how it feels!
22:11I'm just a huge fan of the sport.
