24:31what a beautiful rider he is.
24:35Hearing this, the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
24:40don't just see how beautiful the rider is,
24:43but also see how beautiful the rider is.
24:46How great is the rider.
24:49Dear viewers, today we will talk about the background of the incident of Karbala.
24:54We have with us Hazrat Allama Maulana Athar Mian Qadri Sahib.
24:58Allama Sahib, the incident of Karbala,
25:00its fundamental motivations,
25:02its fundamental background,
25:04and Imam Ali Maqam Imam Hussain, may Allah be pleased with him,
25:07traveling to Karbala with his family,
25:14we do not find a war scene where someone travels with his family to a place where his intention is war.
25:24What would you like to say in this regard?
25:26How do we look at this whole matter?
25:28In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
25:30Allah, the Exalted, says in the Glorious Qur'an,
25:33and Al-Furqan Al-Hameed,
25:35And do not say of those who are killed in the cause of Allah,
25:39Sadaqallahul Azeem wa Sadaq Rasooluhun Nabiyul Kareem.
25:43Brother Adnan,
25:45the topic that you would like to discuss,
25:49before discussing this topic,
25:53an important point,
25:55the incident of Karbala,
25:57took place in the 6th Hijri.
25:59What is the sequence before this?
26:02After the Battle of Badr,
26:04Hazrat Imam Hussain was born.
26:07And you come to this world,
26:10and the sequence is that,
26:12here we are getting good news,
26:15and here we are also getting the news of martyrdom.
26:18And this news of martyrdom,
26:21is famous since the time,
26:23when Imam Hussain came to this world.
26:27Right.
26:28Since childhood, the companions knew him,
26:30the people of Bait-e-Athar knew him,
26:33Hazrat Khatur-e-Jannat,
26:35Fatima-t-Zahra,
26:36Radhi-Allahu Ta'ala, also knew him.
26:39Maula-e-Kainat,
26:40Ali-Murtaza also knew him,
26:42and Rasool-Allah himself also knew him.
26:44Right.
26:45But never,
26:47was there a narration,
26:50in which the Messenger of Allah,
26:52prayed that,
26:53Imam Hussain should not be martyred in the battlefield of Karbala.
26:57Khatur-e-Jannat,
26:58Fatima-t-Zahra,
26:59Tayyaba,
27:00Abida,
27:01Radhi-Allahu Ta'ala,
27:02that when you would be busy in worship,
27:05you would worship so much,
27:07that when your prostration,
27:09would be complete,
27:11you would pray in the presence of Allah,
27:13Maula, your nights are so short,
27:15that Fatima-t-Zahra,
27:16not even one prostration could be complete.
27:18Allahu Akbar.
27:19And Imam Hussain says,
27:20my mother,
27:21after worshipping all night,
27:23if she would ask for a prayer,
27:25she would ask for this prayer,
27:27Maula, please forgive my father's Ummah.
27:30But she never prayed,
27:32that Imam Hussain should not be martyred in the battlefield of Karbala.
27:36Hazrat Ali,
27:37Maula-e-Kainat,
27:38Ali-Murtaza,
27:39Radhi-Allahu Ta'ala,
27:40when he passed by a place,
27:42he picked up the soil of that place,
27:45and started crying.
27:47Someone asked,
27:48Ali, what is the matter?
27:49He said,
27:50this is the place of Karbala,
27:52and here,
27:53my prince will be martyred.
27:56Allahu Akbar.
27:57But Maula Ali never prayed,
27:59that Imam Hussain should not be martyred in the battlefield of Karbala.
28:02Hmm.
28:03What is he saying?
28:04Nana Jan,
28:05Khatam-e-Mursaleen,
28:06Nabi-e-Kareem,
28:08Sallallahu Ta'ala,
28:09Ali-hi-Wa-Sallam,
28:10they know that they will be martyred in the battlefield of Karbala.
28:14Hmm.
28:15And the effect of your prayer,
28:17the blessed hadith is present,
28:19that the companions came to the blessed house of Nabi-e-Kareem,
28:22and said,
28:23O Messenger of Allah,
28:24our animals are dying,
28:26our fields are becoming barren,
28:28there is no water,
28:29there is no rain,
28:30you should pray.
28:32The Messenger of Allah raised his hand and prayed.
28:35The rain descended from the sky.
28:38The rain continued for a week.
28:41Continuously.
28:42The companions again came to the blessed house of Nabi-e-Kareem,
28:45and said,
28:46O Messenger of Allah,
28:47the water has become barren,
28:50our fields will become barren,
28:52our animals will become barren,
28:54you should pray,
28:55that there should be rain around Madinah,
28:57and not in Madinah.
28:59The Messenger of Allah again prayed.
29:02He raised his hand for prayer.
29:04There is rain around Madinah,
29:06but there is no rain in Madinah.
29:08Subhanallah.
29:10And in the battlefield of Karbala,
29:12Imam Hussain,
29:13the narration is present,
29:14history is witness.
29:15Yes.
29:16People taunted Imam Hussain,
29:19that this is the river of Faraat,
29:22you will not be allowed to drink its water.
29:26You say,
29:27you scare us with the fire of hell,
29:29there is fire in your tents in the world.
29:32Because Imam Hussain,
29:34set fire around three tents,
29:37and kept a path to come and go,
29:39so that no one can attack from behind.
29:41So here,
29:42tears flowed from the eyes of Imam Hussain,
29:45and in the presence of Allah,
29:47he prayed,
29:48Maula, this is hurting my heart.
29:50And at the same time,
29:51one person died in the fire,
29:54and the other kept calling for water,
29:57but when the water was put in his mouth,
30:00it came out of his throat.
30:02And he died in the same condition,
30:04where he died.
30:06So now the question arises,
30:08all of them could have prayed,
30:11that this incident should not happen in the battlefield of Karbala,
30:15but everyone knew,
30:17that they have to be content with the will of Allah.
30:21What do you say?
30:22The Qur'an has clearly stated,
30:24soon you will be put to the test.
30:29And how will the test be?
30:31The test of wealth,
30:33the test of life,
30:34the test of children,
30:36and the test of Samar.
30:39And then he was taken.
30:41And in the battlefield of Karbala,
30:43all these tests,
30:45Imam Hussain,
30:47completed them and told,
30:49that those who raised me,
30:52they told me,
30:54what is patience,
30:56what is sacrifice,
30:58they told me,
31:00what is sacrifice in the presence of the Lord,
31:03they told me,
31:05that in the battlefield of Karbala,
31:07Imam Hussain,
