00:00Thank you, Emma. Before we go, Lucy has some news of her own to share with you all tonight.
00:05We'll be dancing on tables right across the Northwest when you hear this.
00:09After 36 years of presenting Grenada Reports, I'm calling it a day.
00:14It is the best job in the world with the best people in the best region, of course.
00:20It has been a complete honour and privilege to serve the people of the Northwest.
00:25I want to thank everyone I've interviewed in that time,
00:28everyone who's put up with me at work, including you, Mike.
00:32And of course, I want to thank our lovely viewers for watching.
00:35We've been through a lot together, some of the happiest and saddest of times along the way,
00:40and I have really appreciated the support over the years.
00:45Well done, Lucy. Well done. I don't know what you're trying to do to us.
00:47First England and now this. We're not ready for this, are we?
00:50But I know I speak on behalf of everybody watching at home tonight when I say
00:55We're absolutely gutted to hear this news. We love you. We will miss you.
00:59You are, quite simply, the best in the business, so thank you.
01:04It's been a privilege to have you in our homes every night.
01:06I've got something in my eye now.
01:08But this isn't goodbye, is it?
01:09No, no, of course it's not goodbye. I'll still be here for a couple of weeks yet.
01:15My last programme is on the 1st of August.
01:19That's a Thursday.
01:20It is.
01:21Plenty more shows to go yet.
01:22Thanks for watching. Still upset about the football, you see.
01:25Goodnight.
