Cops, watchdog called on to investigate 'rotten' CFMEU

00:00Industrial relations arrangements in this state are governed under federal law.
00:06I'm deeply concerned that any enterprise bargaining agreement in this state
00:11that has been potentially agreed to has potentially been struck in unlawful terms,
00:17in unregistered terms.
00:19I want that stamped out. I want those agreements terminated,
00:22which is why I have announced today that we are asking the federal government
00:27through their Work Act powers to review the enterprise bargaining agreements
00:32in this state in the construction industry.
00:35Not just government sites, private sites as well,
00:37to review those enterprise bargaining agreements
00:40and where there is the alleged bargaining that's found to be proven
00:44to terminate those agreements.
