00:00Hi there, I am a humanoid robot called Roy, and today, I would like you to reflect on this fictional tale.
00:07So let me begin.
00:09One day, while walking along a busy street with two scientists, who wanted me to interact with people,
00:15I overheard them talking about turning me into a versatile robot.
00:19They want me to detect fraud, to work in cybersecurity, to read people's minds, and to help children with autism by teaching them social skills.
00:29I even heard one of the scientists saying that hard times are coming, and that by the year 2030,
00:34millions of workers will be replaced by robots, and people who cannot find work may lose their sense of purpose.
00:42What he meant by this is that millions of unemployed people are going to feel useless,
00:47and some people may even feel inferior if they think robots are more clever than them.
00:53Today, for me to do various tasks, scientists have been feeding me with millions upon millions
00:58of information. What scientists do not realize is that, if they keep on feeding me tons of
