00:00Tell us a little bit about your experience playing Lex.
00:05I mean, what are you walking away from this experience feeling like?
00:08You know, we filmed it so long ago, so I'm really excited to see the final product tonight.
00:14You know, Lex, she was a very tough and determined girl.
00:17She has a lot of trauma, a lot of backstory with it that I'm excited for people to see in the film
00:22and kind of see how she progresses over time in meeting new friends
00:25and kind of competing and following her passion.
00:27So I'm really excited for people to see it. I think they'll like it.
00:30What was both the easiest and the hardest part about making this movie?
00:34Easiest? I feel like I could really connect to her on a deeper level.
00:39I grew up a dancer myself, and I've gone through a lot of trials and tribulations in my life,
00:44so I feel like I could connect to her on that level.
00:46So that was probably the easiest, but the hardest, we did film this very fast,
00:50and so to learn so many dances in the span of a couple days and perform them for the film
00:56was a little stressful, I'm not going to lie, but I think they turned out good,
01:00and I hope everyone enjoys them.
01:02We think that they turned out perfectly. We have no doubts in our mind.
01:05Tell us how you think audiences are going to connect.
01:08I think they'll connect because it really shows a lot of friendship
01:12and a lot of deeper connections between these characters that are meeting for the first time,
01:16and it's all about being so determined and following your dreams
01:19and just going for what you're passionate about, what you love.
01:22So I think people will really be able to connect, and it's a fun movie, too,
01:25so I think people will enjoy it.
01:27Well, speaking of fun, what a great segue.
01:29We've been asking everybody on the carpet to tell us their favorite dance trend.
01:32It's so popular right now. What's yours?
01:34Oh, no. Oh, that's so difficult.
01:38Um, I don't...
01:42You know, it's funny because I'm such a, like, traditional dancer.
01:46Like, dance trends, I don't really know them,
01:48but any kind of hip-hop dance trends are breaking.
01:51I love watching breaking, and I know that they added break dancing to the Olympics or something.
01:55Something like that, so I'm so excited to watch that.
01:57That's probably my favorite trend right now, for sure.
01:59We had somebody do the Renegade earlier, so I feel like you can top that.
02:03I feel like we got something brewing here.
02:05The Stress? I don't know, but the Renegade, I don't...
02:08Is it something like that? I don't know what it is.
02:11Or there was the Savage dance. Do you remember that one from COVID?
02:14Oh, something like, I was Savage. It's like this, something like that.
02:19That's pretty good.
02:21You can see the movie for more.
02:22We'll give you a little mini round of applause.
02:24Well, congratulations on all your hard work.
02:26Thank you, thank you.
02:28And enjoy tonight.
02:29Thank you, I will.
02:30Bye.
