00:40It was led by well-known researchers, scientists,
00:44and leaders in the field of agriculture and technology
00:47to discuss a plan to improve and improve the food system and food security in the country.
00:54We had a Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao cluster of discussions
00:58to really discuss what do we need to make sure that our food system
01:04would not only be secured in terms of being able to have enough food for our people to eat,
01:10but more focused on what kind of food do we need to produce
01:14and what kind of food do we need to eat.
01:15This is actually a very rich discussion of scientific information and issues

01:28food safety, and food sufficiency for the Philippines.

01:42are really aimed to retain our scientists here in the country.

01:51that he is now an academician at NAST about his vision for the agency.

02:20who explained his project about GARAPATA.
02:24In various fields, we conduct S-transfer
02:27so that the GARAPATA can survive
02:29and how they can be used to kill the GARAPATA
02:34or to stop the transmission of GARAPATA diseases.
02:37The agency also aims to continue to discuss current challenges
02:41and lay out solutions that will open doors to a prosperous country.
