00:08I recorded this video on Sunday, June 12th, 2022, and I'll be doing a walkthrough of downtown
00:15West Palm Beach.
00:17The time right now is about 1.30pm, and it's 88 degrees Fahrenheit now, so pretty warm.
00:29It's 31 in Centigrade.
00:35I love West Palm Beach.
00:37It's so colorful, there's a lot to do here, and I'm about to show it to you on camera.
00:53This cafe, which I just came out of, was the Pura Vida Miami, excellent spot if you want
01:00some health-conscious foods.
01:03I had an amazing smoothie from here, as well as a tuna wrap.
01:17So the heart of West Palm Beach is right over here, called The Square.
01:23I believe this area used to be called the City Center before.
01:27I was here last year, but the name changed again, and now it's called The Square.
01:52I love all the colors of West Palm Beach.
01:56They really pop out at you and make it seem alive.
02:16What I like about West Palm Beach are all the streets over here are named after herbs
02:22and flowers.
02:32Over here you can see we have Gardenia Street and Rosemary Avenue.
02:50This is the Rosemary Steps.

03:49Over here we have the heart of The Square.

13:14So I'm coming up on Okeechobee Boulevard, one of the main streets that run through
13:35West Palm Beach.
13:59When I was driving to West Palm Beach, I had to take Okeechobee Boulevard and I saw
14:19some gorgeous rows of palm trees all on the way here.
14:37You can see part of it over to my right.
15:01It's a great spot if you want to come take some pictures.
15:29This tower here has the old name of the area, the City Place Tower, but as we know it got
15:54renamed The Square.

17:08I wonder how much it costs for public parking here.
17:12At the garage I parked at, it was $5 for the entire day.
17:17But that was only on weekends.
17:33Now these tracks here are for the high-speed rail service, the Brightline.
17:40The train station is actually right down there.
17:49I think you can get from Miami to West Palm Beach in just about an hour.
18:01And the prices are pretty reasonable too.
18:03I checked the tickets this morning.
18:05It was $27 for the basic package going to West Palm Beach.
18:14And then on the return trip, I even saw a ticket going for $19.
18:26So it's pretty good pricing if you ask me.
18:56So my plan for the rest of this walk is to head towards Clematis Street, which is a street
19:23with a lot of nightlife and restaurants.
19:30And I'll also show you the hotel I stayed at last year when I visited West Palm Beach
19:35for the first time.

20:33This section of West Palm Beach is pretty busy.
21:03You won't really see too many people until I hit the Clematis Street area.
21:13But you'll see a lot more of the office buildings here.
21:44So I'm going to head over to Clematis Street now.

38:56Alright, so I'm going to head this way towards the Intracoastal Waterway and the end of Clematis Street.
