00:00Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Most Brutal
00:17Defeats on Cobra Kai.
00:23For this list, we'll be looking at the most savage losses endured by characters in the
00:27martial arts series.
00:28Since we'll be trying to focus on more legitimate scenarios, we'll avoid situations where
00:33losing opponents strike after already being defeated.
00:36Which loss was the hardest for you to watch?
00:39Let us know in the comments!
00:42Number 10.
00:44Dojo Beatdown.
00:49Sometime after Robby left Miyagi-Do behind for the first time, he asked to lead a group
00:54of Cobra Kai fighters.
00:56But his new dojo students don't exactly give him a warm welcome.
00:59To prove himself, Daniel's former protege challenges a group of Cobra Kai's to hit
01:04him just once.
01:07But these students had no idea that Robby was an absolute beast on the mat.
01:12Thanks to his versatile training, he's able to avoid getting struck while dealing out
01:15sharp blows of his own.
01:17Every student that challenges him is sent on a one-way ticket to a world of pain.
01:22The Cobra Kai's learned the hard way that day that Robby is a fierce fighter that doesn't
01:26pull his punches.
01:31Number 9.
01:32Miguel Schools His Tormentors.
01:40When we first meet Miguel, he's an insecure high schooler struggling to defend himself
01:44against a mean-spirited group led by Kyler.
01:47But that changes when Johnny agrees to be his sensei and teaches him hard-hitting techniques.
01:52After gaining more confidence and a set of offensive skills, Miguel is able to take a
01:56stand one day during lunch.
02:03He showcases that he's a fast Cobra Kai learner by mercilessly taking apart Kyler and his
02:08crooked crew.
02:09Near the end of the battle, Miguel gets really creative when he lands harsh hits with a lunch
02:14tray.
02:15Despite the brutality of his blows, both the audience and the student body were impressed
02:19by the fed-up teen's savage display.
02:31Number 8.
02:32Daniel vs. A Hockey Team.
02:40Despite a decades-long rivalry, Johnny and Daniel agree to join their forces and teach
02:45each other new styles to take down Cobra Kai.
02:48As part of the Miyagi-Do Sensei's training, he has to fight an angry group of hockey players…
02:53alone.
02:54Daniel decides to show them exactly how fierce he can be.
03:03None of the athletes stand any chance against the fighter's fast and fearsome fists.
03:07And when Daniel really gets caught up in the moment, he goes after his opponents with one
03:11of their hockey sticks.
03:13The Sensei finishes off the last opponent with a quick series of moves that look really
03:17excruciating.
03:18By the end of this fight, the players might have preferred to fight each other than to
03:22mess with Daniel.
03:29Number 7.
03:30Robby unleashes hell on Kenny.
03:42After Kenny is relentlessly tormented by his peers at school, he turns to Robby and Cobra
03:46Kai for guidance.
03:47The new recruit slowly builds up his fighting skills and forges a strong relationship with
03:52his mentor.
03:53However, their bright relationship takes a dark turn when they meet in the quarterfinals
03:57of the All-Valley Tournament.
03:58Although Robby tries to go easy on his foe, Kreese tells him to stop holding back.
04:10The older fighter shows absolutely no mercy to Kenny.
04:13Over the course of a few minutes, Robby hits his friend with painful blows.
04:17The mentor also publicly humiliates his mentee in front of the crowd.
04:22Kenny leaves the fight with a bloody nose and the knowledge that he isn't safe from
04:26Robby's brutality.
04:34Number 6.
04:35Terry attacks Johnny.
04:44In season 4, Terry Silver re-enters the world of karate to teach Cobra Kai students once
04:49more.
04:50But it doesn't take long for this unstable man to get carried away.
04:54After messing with Johnny's head, Silver tricks the Eagle Fang Sensei into taking a
04:58kick to the face.
04:59The villain proceeds to viciously overpower the fighter with devastating blows.
05:04Fortunately, Kreese puts a stop to the beatdown before it can get any worse.
05:12The fact that the harsh sensei thought Terry had crossed a line speaks volumes about the
05:16severity of this defeat.
05:18Johnny was lucky that Miguel was there to help the beaten man after he tried to drown
05:22the pain of his loss.
05:26Number 5.
05:28Hawk draws blood.
05:30As the insecure Eli morphed into Hawk and trained in Cobra Kai, he became a much more
05:34cutthroat version of himself.
05:36One of the most brutal displays of his new personality occurred when Kreese brought in
05:40recruits who picked on Eli in the past.
05:43Hawk sees their entrances as new opportunities to inflict revenge.
05:55When facing off against his former tormentor, Brux, the bird-themed Cobra Kai student easily
06:00gets the better of his foe and essentially beats him to a pulp.
06:04Hawk doesn't even need to be asked to finish his opponent off.
06:12By the end of this brutal beatdown, some bystanders can't even stand to look at the bloodied
06:17and defeated Brux.
06:19Hawk's revenge clearly went way too far.
06:27Number 4.
06:29Chosen slaughters the senseis.
06:36Imagine honing your skills as a sensei for years or even decades.
06:40Suddenly, you and four of your peers are asked to confront one man and get utterly destroyed.
06:46This is the scenario that five unlucky men faced when they dared to take on Chosen.
06:50The villain-turned-hero deals out brutal blow after brutal blow.
06:54Throughout this fight, Chosen makes sure that everyone who ends up on the mat gets there
06:59in the most painful way possible.
07:05These senseis weren't the last ones to suffer a hard loss at the hands of the Miyagi-Do
07:09sensei.
07:10But they're still some of the best examples of why you should never get on Chosen's
07:14bad side.
07:15Now we draw a line.
07:19No more expansion.
07:21No more senseis.
07:22No more challenge Miyagi-Do.
07:26Number 3.
07:27Johnny and Daniel battle Kreese.
07:37Johnny, Daniel and their families suffered directly and indirectly at the hands of Kreese
07:42many times throughout season 3.
07:44But the heroes finally decide they can't take this bad treatment anymore in the finale.
07:49After Johnny is taken out by a cheap blow from Kreese, Daniel runs in to finish the
07:53old sensei.
07:54Although the Miyagi-Do sensei initially has some trouble, he gets ahead by striking his
07:58opponent's pressure points and making the villain unable to use his limbs.
08:08Kreese's expression as he's rendered helpless speaks volumes.
08:11In order to rub more salt in the wound, he has to watch his once favorite student team
08:16up with one of his most hated enemies.
08:18Losing the big battle, and the battle for Johnny's loyalty, must have stung.
08:28Number 2.
08:29Broken Arm.
08:36It's no secret that Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai students don't tend to get along.
08:41This longtime rivalry only heated up after the two dojos faced off in an utterly insane
08:46school brawl.
08:47After that intense battle royale, Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai students had another savage
08:52confrontation at an arcade.
08:54The fight is initially evenly matched until overwhelming reinforcements from Cobra Kai
08:58arrive.
08:59Amidst the chaos, things take a particularly painful turn when Hawk directs his fury toward
09:04his former best friend, Dimitri.
09:06Suddenly, the Cobra Kai student is encouraged by all his peers to snap the Miyagi-Do student's
09:11arm.
09:14And Hawk does just that.
09:16The moment where he went through with this cruel break marked Hawk's ugliest moment
09:21on the show.

09:45Number 1.
09:46Terry Takes Daniel Down.
09:58Daniel had plenty of reasons to tear Terry Silver apart before the two faced off for
10:02the first time on Cobra Kai.
10:04Unfortunately, the Miyagi-Do sensei simply wasn't ready for how fearsome his opponent
10:08truly was.
10:10Although Daniel manages to stay in the fight for a while, he gets hit with a series of
10:14crushing blows he can't recover from.
10:16He's left lying on the floor while Silver taunts him relentlessly.
10:28While we knew the physical injuries were bad, we had no idea how deep the villain's words
10:32cut Daniel until the Miyagi-Do man announced he was giving up the fight completely.
10:37For a moment, Silver had completely destroyed the hero's body and spirit.
