00:00The third edition of Johnson & Johnson Week, together with Medicine of the Future,
00:10the week of events and meetings with clinics, patient associations, institutions, universities and research centers,
00:16has opened a reflection on the next evolutions of Italian health.
00:20On this occasion, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Italy has promoted the talk Human Intelligence,
00:26first of all, dedicated to what is for the pharmaceutical company the main driver for the medicine of the future, people.
00:34This is demonstrated by the attention reserved to the well-being of employees, sharing and collaboration,
00:39which has guided the realization of the new Milanese headquarters in Viale Fulvio Testi 280.
00:45Johnson & Johnson, the priority are people, and people are in fact at the center of our entire business strategy.
00:51As you have seen, this is a new headquarters for us, designed with the contribution of all our employees.
00:58What we wanted to encourage is collaboration and a new way of working that puts people in the center.
01:05Taking a tour of our buildings, you will realize personally how our offices are designed
01:13in order to promote communication and conversation between people.
01:18The fundamental principle of the new people strategy of the organizations
01:22must be to put people at the center of the processes and of the employee journey.
01:27So it is important in reviewing the processes and introducing the technologies
01:31to think that then it is the person who has to benefit from it first, and this is the first point.
01:36The second point is obviously to propose a value proposition that must be a little wider for the employee
01:42and not just offer the opportunity to make a career and create value,
01:46but also to do it within a context that has a kind of social responsibility for the territory
01:53and for a whole series of other aspects, the environment for example, because this is sought after and desired.
01:58And then finally, I would obviously say to always ensure a lot of diversity and inclusion,
02:06because this generates loyalty within the workforce of the employees
02:11and loyalty, as you know, requires lower costs to be managed, but above all it generates more value.
02:18With this meeting, Johnson & Johnson has given life to a moment of comparison
02:22on the importance of knowing how to value people within organizations,
02:26posing as a prelude to a way of doing and understanding work that is still too little widespread in Italy.
02:32The three main elements on which to work that emerge from our work experience surveys
02:39are first of all the part of diversity.
02:42Today there is great attention in the world on differences within the workplace.
02:50In Italy there is great attention on gender discrimination
02:55and therefore all the world, meritocracy, recognition of differences within demographies is quite important.
