00:00Hello, I'm Matthew Gregory, and welcome back to another episode of We Can Be Euros.
00:08Today, we'll look back at England's stunning semi-final victory against the Netherlands
00:12and look ahead to Sunday's showdown in the final against Spain.
00:15To help me pick through the bones of yet another dramatic evening,
00:18I'm joined as always by an expert panel.
00:20From Three Added Minutes, Jason Jones, and he's alongside National Worlds, Liverpool
00:24and Everton correspondent George Priestman.
00:27Jason, you can get us going today.
00:28That goal from Ollie Watkins right at the death was not only brilliantly taken,
00:32but just a moment for the ages, wasn't it?
00:36Absolutely, absolutely, Matt.
00:38It's the sort of thing that will be played on endless loops and montages for the rest of our
00:44lives, I think, especially if England go on to win the whole thing on Sunday.
00:49But obviously, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
00:52But yeah, you're absolutely right.
00:53I mean, it was a hell of a finish, wasn't it?
00:55The way that he's taken it and then obviously rolled the defender up so slightly and then
00:59get it back across for Brogan in the manner that he did.
01:01There is literally one place that he can put that to score and he did it to the millimetre.
01:07It was absolutely perfect.
01:10I like what Watkins brings when he comes on.
01:13I think that it really benefits England to be able to have someone who does actually
01:17make those runs in behind, who does look to stretch a defence in the way that he does.
01:21And I now feel as if we're going to get into a few days of discourse, discussing whether
01:25or not he should be given a start in the final.
01:28I personally think he's probably better making some sort of impact from the bench.
01:31But certainly in that moment, just absolutely wonderful.
01:34And something that was lovely to see for his reaction as well.
01:38You can just tell how much it meant to him.
01:39It's the stuff that dreams me, isn't it?
01:42Yeah, I mean, it meant a fair bit to me as well.
01:44I went so wild in front of the television.
01:46I punched the air so hard that my brand new wedding ring went flying off, ricocheted off
01:51a couple of objects of furniture and was found about half an hour later having come to rest
01:55in a plant pod somewhere in my living room.
01:58Yeah, it's just an extraordinary moment.
02:00Again, not so long after Bellingham's overhead kick against Slovakia.
02:04You can't say this England side isn't providing us with a few memories.
