00:30need to be a little bit more

00:33cautious. That he is a patriot

00:35he's somebody who believes in

00:36the working families of America

00:38and he's delivered for them.

00:39We need to be a little bit more

00:43cautious. The patriotic.

01:01Well you know you're coming up

01:03with a hypothetical here

01:05honestly I'm I'm supporting Joe

01:07Biden because he said he's

01:08going to run and they're going

01:10to win. I think that's bad for

01:12America bad for working

01:13families and frankly bad for

01:15democracy I'm really deeply

01:17concerned about the future of

01:18the nation under another term

01:21of Donald Trump so. Joe Biden

01:23and Kamala Harris are going to

01:24run and they're going to win.

01:29Well all I was referring to is

01:31I don't like the polls right

01:33Joe Biden is behind by a couple

01:35of points nationally. I think

01:37we need to make sure that

01:39President Biden should get out

01:40there more talk to the American

01:42public make sure that he's

01:44communicating about the issues

01:45that are important to them. And

01:47that the Democratic Party stands

01:48up for. And so I don't like the

01:51fact that we're behind and I

01:52think we can do much better and

01:53I'm gonna go campaign for him.

01:54And watch him win in November.

01:57I do. I do.

02:27Yeah. This is the fight of our

02:30lifetime. This is the most

02:32important election of our

02:33lifetime. We need everybody to

02:35come together to defeat Donald

02:36Trump and yes I'm working hard

02:38I'm going to Indiana on Friday

02:40I'll be in Ohio on Saturday

02:42another month or two I'll be in

02:43two other states. I'm working

02:45hard for not only the president

02:47the United States the vice

02:49president the United States.

02:50And then importantly for the

02:52people of Illinois because a lot

02:54of these trips I'm also visiting

02:56businesses and trying to attract

02:58them to the state and our

02:59infrastructure that we're

03:00putting in place across the

03:02state is one of the things that

03:03attracts them the other of

03:05course is our excellent

03:06workforce. So what's your signal

03:09to the delegates from Illinois

03:10I mean we'll be at the DNC of

03:12course. Do you expect them to be

03:14bound to Joe Biden? Well they

03:16are I mean the you know these

03:18are delegates who are elected to

03:19support Joe Biden that is what

03:21they do at the convention unless

03:23he steps aside which he said

03:25he's not going to do and so all

03:27of our delegates will show up at

03:29the convention they'll vote for

03:31Joe Biden and I believe Joe

03:33Biden will be our candidate and

03:35it will be a great candidate

03:37beating Donald Trump but we got

03:39a lot of work to do we're all

03:40going to have to pull together

03:41to make it happen. Why do you

03:43think this line of questioning

03:44has persisted so long? Why can't

03:46the president put this question

03:47to bed? Yeah I think it look

03:49when you stumble in a you know

03:51highly watched debate people

03:53want to know if you can continue

03:55right they want to know if you

03:56can overcome the bad press that

03:58you got during that debate and I

04:00think they were slow out of the

04:02gates after the debate to make

04:04it clear to people that he's

04:06going to be the candidate and

04:07that he's capable of taking on

04:09and beating Donald Trump and

04:11he's doing that now he's

04:12convincing everybody and I think

04:14that's great and I'm you know

04:15hopefully we'll get past the you

04:17know the naysayers the concerned

04:19but we should listen to them I

04:21also want to be clear nobody

04:22should denigrate people who are

04:23asking questions it's a totally

04:25reasonable thing to do but Joe

04:27Biden has said he's going to be

04:28our nominee so we've got to pull

04:30together especially to beat

04:32Donald Trump. All right thanks

04:33everybody. Any comments on

04:34Alton's sinkhole? I mean we're

04:36working very hard to make sure

04:37that that is not a problem that

04:39goes forward in Alton and of

04:41course that we get the federal

04:42government involved but we're

04:44going to make sure that we're

04:45doing everything we can because

04:47people need I mean that is it's

04:48shocking really and I think

04:50it's it's shocking really I'm so

04:52glad that there was nobody on

04:53that field when that happened

04:54but the question is why did it

04:56happen and what's the federal

04:57government going to do to make

04:58sure it never happens again.
