01:04every individual win is not just a win for a college
01:08football team to start off the season. It adds on a layer of
01:11significance because it generates national
01:14conversation. What are your reactions to what Deion Sanders
01:17had to say yesterday at Big 12 Media Day? Yes, I mean he is a
01:21media guy. He's always been in the media. One of the best
01:23football players we've ever seen on the field and he sort
01:26of brings that attention to himself. Now, also coupled with
01:29the fact where when they got to Colorado talking about Deion's
01:32team and that includes a lot of videographers, they made it a
01:35point. We're going to put this like a reality show. So, of
01:38course, they're going to judge you different than other teams
01:40at this point because we see more about Colorado and you
01:43make it a point to go on talk shows and the fly around the
01:46country and go on pregame shows to talk up your program. That's
01:49why he's making so much money. That's why Colorado sold out
01:52every single game even if the results aren't measuring up.
01:55But no, nobody cares about GPA across any other football team
01:59anymore at this point here. So, I think what he's basically
02:01saying is I got a good football team and my team stunk before I
02:05got there. I got a couple wins. A lot of people would be
02:08praised for how many wins they got at Colorado but I'm not
02:10sure that but also when you be and sometimes we we don't do
02:14any service here. If you would have said, okay, we honestly
02:16know what TCU will be by the end of the season. Maybe it
02:19wasn't such a big win opening weekend which puts Colorado on
02:22that pedestal to begin with when maybe they didn't really
02:25be a great football team at that time but it's college
02:27football. You can't complain about being in the spotlight
02:29when you want to be in the spotlight.
